I just spent half an hour trying this puzzle without success, so I figured I might as well waste another half hour making this paint picture:

To try it, just copy it into paint and try fitting the pieces together. Any help would be appreciated.

Alright, so, what I *really* want is someone to tell me that mine is unsolvable. I'm sure it's not, but I think I've been at it for about 6 hours, all told.

I would greatly appreciate a clue, though not necessarily a full solution. Just knowing where any one piece goes would probably be great.

Does anyone think this will be a new world?[/quote]

Yep i noticed it. it looks exactly like the map. Seems like the staff is doing its job. Any progress anyone?

Sorry to repost from last night, but I'm still stuck solid.

Could anyone figure this out, pretty please?

Try putting the anchor in against the bottom of the puzzle. Then fit the rope ones around it, you should then be able to fit the mops and straight pieces in. It is a tough one though :/

EDIT - I mean putting the anchor one more along so that the Z shaped ropes fits neatly in the side.

I hope this starts you off!

Yeah! We noticed that island a couple of weeks back, I think, and were discussing it a bit in the Future Speculation thread. We were thinking Sloth Plot because it looks like his head. When I heard about a Lost Island Plot in the magazine, I figured it would be that one.

*eeeps*

Still excited for a new plot.

I could still use some help from last night. I've tried every possible combination I can think of and I'm still left with my empty squares not in the right arrangement to fit the last piece. Very Frustrating! I think some of our puzzles are definitely harder than others.

Thanks if you can help or give some advice...

There is no way that the puzzles are harder, you are probably just starting off with the wrong piece. Try putting your largest, most oddly-shaped piece at the bottom, and working around it. You should be able to fill up the rest of the spaces a little easier. Move it left and right if you can't do it with the first go. This is how I solves mine.

I finally solved mine. Now I am getting a picture of a smiling Scrapy. I guess that is as far as we can get right now.

Yours is a funny one because you haven't got any larger shapes. I'd try and the ropey ones it around each other and see if the long ones will fill the gaps.

Try someone else suggustion of picking a peice for the top right corner and working around that - if it doesn't happen try a different piece.

I promise you will get a real sense of satisfaction if you do finally manage it.

Anotehr tip is to go away and do something totally different for 5 mins, looking at it with fresh eyes will really help.
