I've found that if after you die and your pet has 0 hp, if you go back a screen, you can click on the challenger again and it will automatically count as a loss... I'm not sure if this is allowed, or if it takes any damage from him at all. probly not unless you get the "weakened" message".

In any case, through that method i accidentally lost to punching bag bob... 20 times.

yeah.

i win.

I should get a medal.

The Water Faerie says a few magical words and...

Wet Snowball appears in her hand. She hands it to you... 'Use this wisely!'.

I started battling by losing 468 times to the Spectre of Lord Darigan. My reward was 0 war points, a battledome record that reflects that I'm not afraid of challenges, and learning a lot of strategy on how to fight stronger opponents. It's not something that I've ever regretted.

LOL...

Does fighting 1-hit KO opponents like the Mayor give you any experience on BDing? Dear me, it's just 1 hit and thats it. There's no strategy involved. We were meant to lose to these opponents so their life could be brought down bit by bit.

True. I forget what happened back in BFM (or whenever we were fighting Darigan) but was he the same as the mayor, in the sense that you HAD to lose to him to help move along the plot? Or was he just someone you had to fight numerous times against until you could finally beat him? Oh whatever. I'll keep losing to the darned Mayor and hope this doesn't ruin me outright.

Though I must say, it is rather fun Draining Life from him. 100 hp heal? Holla at that!

Some under 10 NP alternatives if Healing Potion I or whatever you use is getting inflated:

Ubikiberry Elixir
Pale Elixir
Lime Elixir
Juicy Elixir

We were meant to lose. But lasting 3 rounds against a 1-hit KO opponent with a really weak pet did require strategy.

He did go down one HP for every loss against him.

Did your items actually work against that opponent? Because I don't see any possible way to do that here, when our items don't do anything defensive....

... And he's under 1000!

477--too bad I can't lower him by the amount of damage I can manage before I get my butt kicked.

Sat Nov 18, 2006 5:19 am

He's right below 400. I wonder who's going to give the damning blow. I can't say I envy them if their name gets out....
