What gave you the idea that the scores would be turned back? No other war plot has given back or reversed points. It would be very unfair.

Scores in the battledome stay for good or for bad. This plot will be no different. It was your choice to fight or not - so your scores reflect that.

I only chose to battle 20 times and ended up at 89.33% (which came down from 90.5%)

I will be very angry if TNT reset battledomes scores.

K...three deep breaths, Daze...I've never done a battle plot before. I only thought it would make sense since there wasn't really any way of winning...but I was obviously wrong...didn't mean to offend, friend...

EDIT:
Sorry for the double post...didn't realize...

I agree that the ending was far too anti-climactic.Too many unanswered questions. What's the deal with the Spirit of Slumber? What about the name on the grave? Why are all Yurbles portrayed as being angry? (mine's not, in fact, he's rather pleasant) However, the fact that we see Krawley slinking off at the end gives me hope that he'll be coming around again some time. Of course, the prospect of cool rewards is good too.

I just randomly stumbled upon Neovia's description (the text at the top of http://www.neopets.com/halloween/neovia.phtml ) saying something like "Neovia Brightness Status: no brighter than it was yesterday...or the day before." Does anyone have the exact quote? [edit] Maybe I should mention that this was pretty close to the top of the 7 PM NST hour.

These sorts of plot-based intentional losses are not "losses" in any practical or statistical sense of the word. I would understand if you meant only the *real* battles (gravestones, trees, villagers), but it defeats the purpose of the number if you include losses to the mayor. Right now, I have more respect for those who let their win percentage drop in order to participate, which is totally backwards from what that stat should signify.

It was right under the paragraph description, above the flash map.

It looked like this:

Image

Neovia

A city once cursed, Neovia was saved and its buildings restored by dedicated citizens who call it home. This place is the closest the otherwise grim Haunted Woods comes to having a bright spot.

Neovia Brightness Status: no brighter than it was yesterday...or the day before. (not exact wording)

Strange. I definitely don't get that same message.

As I said, it was apparently random...or only at xx:00:?? perhaps (since it was near the top of the hour). I feel pretty blah for going "Wow, was that there before!? Lemme refresh in a panic to make sure...."

Huh? Is there even that quote? I only got this:
Neovia

Is anyone else thinking along the lines of "they've given us fake endings before now"?

I have too much blind faith to believe the plot is actually over... and my little brain is hoping that the overhaul tomorrow has something to do with the HWP... it can't be over!

The plot has reached a conclusion - that is, the story is finished - the townspeople where saved and cured. We have the one exception of Bruno but he is happy with it.

"Fake-endings" are just that - in the LDP nothing was resolved - the plot couldn't end even though in the news it suggested it had.

In the HatIC plot? - the comic had a fake ending (but was taken down and replaced with the real one. It was very obvious a fake ending.

Even though the ending could have been a little better, the plot has finished.

I think the Haunted Woods will get a make-over for the big thing tomorrow.

I agree. I firmly believe that we're done with the plot, even if everything isn't explained as much as we would like it to be (The Cyodrake's Gaze wasn't fully explained in the end, either, as far as I can recall). The conclusion is that the Elephante is finished with his story and we're all left to...leave. That's that.

Ok, well, now we wait.

It should be about 2 or 3 months now until we get our prizes. I hope they're up to par with the LDP.

Tue Nov 21, 2006 1:36 pm

I'm personally more excited about the "big surprise update" for today. Prizes will come when they come...it's not like we lose points the longer it takes TNT to tally them :P

*gets giddy over today's surprise*

Tue Nov 21, 2006 3:30 pm

I personally am actually somewhat cranky. I've followed the plot faithfully from the beginning and done every step. Then, I went out of town for 3.5 days to a work-related conference at a hotel with no free Internet, and BOOM! plot ends.

If I can't get the final prize strictly because I didn't get to battle the Mayor I am going to be very, very annoyed with what was otherwise my favorite plot on Neopets to date.
