Each gnarled and battle scarred trunk will probably give up enough board for a plank of picket fence for my Neogarden, which I can use to hem in my lawn. On quiet evenings I will be able to hear the spirits of the trees moan and curse my name as I enjoy a cup of coffee on the veranda.

I wonder if there are large enough pieces left of the gravestones to make a walkway.

:roflol: that's twisted!

Or..... increasing the number and quality of servers!!!!

In addition to..... reimbursing each battler with 100np per extra second of lag.

QUESTION!

Okay i've been tryin to do the plot in between working 40 hours a week and ya know life. So anyhow I am to the point of spose to be putting my meepits in there happy lil circle. When I click a meepit and place it all my meepits take a place on the circle. Sometimes one is in a spot where it belong or sometimes none of them are but they are near there spots. (I understand all that) however seems I only get 3 tries to get my meepits where they belong. Either that or if I choose wrong and when i move the meepit it doesnt make it to where that meepit would be happy. Well... this happens

Is this what happens to everyone or am I having issues?

You need to find all 7 before it works. Looks like you're missing a couple.

Mon Nov 06, 2006 12:27 am

No i have all 7 when i click on my meepit in my list and put it on the circle all the meepits take a spot. But after about 3 moves or me making a choice that doesnt make them dance that is what happens. its liek 2 run away and the rest turn unhappy.

*edit*
After a bit more playing i think it is as soon as I choose to move a meepit and its not into its 'happy dance' spot.... *pouts*

I did see this before and in my case I had not actually found all 7 but I saw 7 in the inventory so I placed them and got that result after moving them. I assume with all the other activity this weekend, some of your meepits are not properly in NPs db. All you can do is make sure you trap 7 before the circle reguardless of what your inventory says.

I definately got more than 3 tries to place them.

There are likely to be new opponentes Monday night so now is probably a better time to try.

Good luck. Since that is what you really need.

Okay thanks that could be my problem because I WAS thinking that I hadn't collected them all the night I went hunting but when I got on the other night it said i had 7.... so maybe i better go hunting a bit more. :)

If I recall correctly. clicking on the quest inventory link at the top did show how many I actually had. But the pull-out at the bottom didn't display the accurate amount.

When I was doing mine, I had an error where every time I got a meepit, it said I had all 7, even though I didn't. After I found a meepit, it showed me the right number briefly. Just keep wandering around until you find them all. Good luck!

I have a feeling I'm about to really irritate a lot of people....

.. but I'm really enjoying this plot. I love puzzle solving and I enjoy battling. I managed to get about 60 fights in against the stones - nowhere near maxed out but it reflects the time that I was willing to put in fighting them. I'm liking the harder difficulty opponents we've got now, as far as lag goes it's taking about 15-30 seconds to load each page.. more than enough time to read some topics on PPT or play a round of flash games.

I don't get this whole "it's not fair" mentality that some people have, and I'd like to give a hearty round of applause to the points Cranberry and others were making about 4 pages ago about people putting in more effort with training and thus deserving more points.

We can't all be good at everything - me complaining that any element of this plot is unfair due to timing is like me claiming that the timing of the halloween side bar was unfair because it falls right in the middle of my journey to work... and complaining about having a battling element being unfair to non battlers is like complaining that the beauty contest is unfair to people who can't draw (let's not mention the word "premium" or the phrase "not able to pay" or my head might explode ;))

*Vent over*

It's mainly directed at the kind of people who whine on the neoboards but I thought I'd bore you guys with it too :D

Mon Nov 06, 2006 2:14 pm

You didn't annoy me, but then again, flattery will get you everywhere. ;)

The thing some people don't seem to realize is that the lag is affecting us all equally. Those of us who have managed to get a few hundred wins have been sitting around for hours, trying again and again to enter fights and having to hit the back button half the time thanks to blank pages. We put in the time, so we deserve our wins, and if you can't get that many, that's not our fault.

Also, I don't know of a single person who actually got to max out on the stones, so I don't think it's unfair that I didn't get to kill as many as I could have. While none of the people around my boosts maxed out, some of them got more wins than me, but they deserve them because they sat there fighting that awful lag longer than I did.

And once again, I think it's great that TNT took the stones away, because if they were still up, the lag would still be unbearable.

Does this lag suck? Hell yes. But is the plot unfair? No. And I'm enjoying it, for the most part.

Mon Nov 06, 2006 3:24 pm

I agree. I don't think the plot is unfair. I think it has been pretty awesome up to this point. The combination of puzzle and battle is really refreshing. There really isn't much TNT can do about the lag at this point. I don't think they were quite ready for it as this is the worst it has been compared to previous wars. I'm thinking this is perhaps due to the number of really easy opponents and their simultaneous releases. Usually we only get 1 at a time. The only time this plot might become unfair is at prize rewarding time - which won't be for another few months anyway, so we shouldn't worry. :)

I'm enjoying it for the most part and now that the battle dome is moving somewhat faster than frozen molasses I'm o.k. with the battle part too. I was getting really annoyed at it taking over an hour for one battle. I only managed to acctually get credit for beating the top stone (don't recall it's name off the top of my head) once. But the tree part is moving ok. Not great or even good for that matter but ok.

So far I must say that I like this plot more that some of the recent ones. It all flows together much nicer and doesn't require quite the time investment some of the others have.

As for the battledome not being fair.... I think it is fine. All of my pets are not at all battlers but I am still managing to do ok with it. All it takes is buying some cheap battledome equipment and a few health potions that you can take into the fight with you. And counting the 30 min between health faerie visits, lol.

*nods in agreement*

I upgraded my set recently, it was after the war speculation started so the prices were fairly inflated but I wanted weapons that did over 6 icons and I wanted them now (oh how I love my new little set), but even before that I would have enjoyed fighting even the enemies I could manage

Speaking of which

*goes off to hammer a couple more trees before she heads home*

Mon Nov 06, 2006 5:56 pm

This match was a draw!
Neither pet has won the fight!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! :( He was dealing like 20, where the hell did that 105 come from?! Argh!! *cries*

Edit: "Black Elm has beaten you! You have lost this fight!"
OH #!@$ I FORGOT YOU DON'T HEAL AFTER YOU DRAW. Going into a battle with 0 HP isn't a very good strategy. ;-; THIS SUCKS.

Edit again: Oops this isn't the trees thread. Oh well, all the threads seem to be talking about the same things anyway. Sorry.
