Oooh that is exciting news... I can feel a little bubble of hope rising to the surface, just waiting to be burst...

Meh, I think saying I'm bored of waiting would be a slight understatement at this point... oh well, at least it means I'm doing some actual work at work for a change, rather than playing on neo.

It would be nice to get plot prizes soon, but for some reason I think we'll probably get them on like a Thursday or a Friday. I'm not sure why I think that.

Although if Snarkie's sidebar count is up maybe we'll get them later this week.

I would never expect them to come out on a Monday...I'd sooner expect a Friday. That being said, I don't think they'll be out this week...oh no...I'm starting to become a pessimist

I pretty much forgot all about neopets and plot prizes over the weekend. I come here on Monday night and I'm like, *headsmack* ohhhh yeeeeaaaaah! Priiiiiizzeeees. . .! And still nothing? It was nice not thinking about neopets or prizes for a while. Maybe I should just take a week hiatus.

If you'd told me a month ago that the prizes wouldn't be released before March, I would have called you incredibly pessimistic.

Yet here we are.

What the heck, TNT? The plot closed in November.

I bet they "come out" this Friday, in honor of March 3rd, only to be cancelled, because TNT thinks they're hilarious like that. Then they'll actually be released in April. *headdesk*

Yes, that is correct. March the 3rd will not be happening. Basically, we are now syncing the daily content once per day, and because of all the extra things we have to do (syncing to 120 servers, translating the site), it is happening much later than usual. As a result, by the time the site syncs the actual day that news refers to is over in more than half the world. The fact that we are 8 hours behind GMT does not help that fact either.

Australians, for instance, will first hear about Uni Day (March the 2nd) at 4pm on March the 3rd, and those playing from Nuku'alofa in Tonga have it even worse!

So anyway, we will be doing the content one day in advance from now on, and then sync at midnight on the previous day. We hope you like this idea!! All the stuff that will usually go up on the 3rd will be happening on the 4th, so don't worry about missing Mystery Pic

Also, Half Price Day will be the 3rd as usual.

All subsequent '3rd March's were cancelled, i.e. without 'news'. For example, in 2006, the news (for the lack of a better word) on that day were:

March 3rd has been CANCELLED due to lack of interest... again. Your regularly scheduled news will resume tomorrow when we're sure interest will return. Until then, Happy March 3rd!
