Copied from the walkthrough:
10. The grave marking is done. The last name is Jubart Igig. It might be an anagram. Now, to figure out more, Sophie is going to need to create some potions. This stage is broken up into three parts.
- Stage 1 you have 3 ingredients, and you want to get a purple pot (Try Red -> Green -> Blue -> Purple). The pot will turn bubbly black and overflow if you use 6 items. (You will need to start this stage over)
- Stage 2 you have 4 ingredients, and you want to get a 4-colored pot (Try: Red -> Green -> Blue -> Purple -> Grey -> Pink -> 4-color). The sequence that you got for Stage 1 doesn't necessarily carry over to Stage 2. Overflow occurs at 8 (?) items.
- Stage 3 you have 5 ingredients, and you want to get a silver-red swirl pot (Try: Red -> Green -> Blue -> Purple -> Grey -> Pink -> 4-color, -> green/yellow swirl -> Sparkly Purple -> Silver/Red swirl). Overflow occurs at 10 items.
* Note: Each person's ingredients will have UNIQUE color-changing properties. What one person's does likely will not do the same to you. Trial and Error is your friend.
* Note: It's possible to skip over a stage (ex: You can go from Red to Blue), which is perfectly OK.]
* Note: It's also possible that the first three stages may be rearranged. Purple and beyond seem to have a set order. The key point is that you make progress through the list.

Thought I'd mention it in case it helps someone (though it might just confuse you more, heh): In the 3rd stage of cauldron-mixing, I got to the pink phase twice. As in bumroot --> purple, sansram --> pink, jurple --> black, then jurple --> pink again. Then on with the same color progression as mentioned in the walkthrough.
I don't claim to understand it, but that's what happened to me.

This wasn't near as hard as I thought it would be, thank goodness! I actually managed to skip two steps in the last stage.

hehe, I was on the last step for about 20 min and tried every combination and couldn't get the Purple sparkle....till I realized I already had it! I thought the purple sparkle was regular purple...I didn't look close enogh! hehe

I know im gonna be unpopular for saying this but...
I wish this stage had been longer, we now have a whole week with no news or updates and nothing to do (Regarding the plot)

On mine, there was a black stage between the purple and pink stages. It's probably supposed to be there, because it's the only way I could get to pink. You might want to add that in.

perhaps you're mistaking the black for "grey"? the grey is actually quite dark, I was almost thrown off...

I am not sure that the color progressions are the same... This is how I got mine..
Crushed Jurpleberries (red->green)
Leafy Slorgblossom (green->blue)
Leafy Slorgblossom (blue->purple)
Crushed Jurpleberries (purple->grey)
Salt (grey->pink)
Bumroot (pink->4multicolor)
Bumroot (4 color->sparkly purple)
Leafy Slorgblossom (sparkly->sparkly...I dont think this step was needed)
Bronze Sansam (sparkly->red/white swirl)

Her shack (Gypsy Camp->Neovia->Shack). Just click the ingredients to add them.

I agree with you there. I really hope there are more intuitive parts coming up, so that there aren't 500,000 RoTL-equivalent prizes released. This should really be harder.
What I'm really looking for in a plot step is something fun, but difficult, that requires a lot of thinking. Maybe something like a bunch of Lenny Conundrum-type problems put together, but with personalized numbers, that we could all help each other solve.

I did the same thing! I fought with the darn thing for the longest time until I bothered to look a little closer.

I know, something like the LDP but easier. Something like where you could have to solve multiple things, where you couldn't just get an answer off the Neoboards but you could get a little help from the people at PPT. It isn't too hard, but those who do it better or do extra things get better prizes.
