I have just got Sky Broadband, and I found I cannot update Flash player to Version9.
I followed the instructions, which said to uninstall previous versions first. I did this, now it won't install 9 from their homepage.

Is there anywhere I can download an installer that won't go through the webpage?

You could try installing the trial version of macromedia flash (as in the program that builds flash) as it's bundled with the software.
