Custom Desktop Programs

Anyone know any good custom desktop programs besides DesktopX and Talisman? Please post.

Windows Blinds used to be good, I've never used it though.

stay away from Stardock products (desktop x, windowblinds, windowfx, etc) unless you've got a super computer :| Those apps take up a lot of resources and you'll probably end up uninstalling it after a month or so like me. The reason they're bad is because they just appear on top of your current desktop and dont actually replace it... I havent done any modding for a whlie but I tried this one program called litestep and it was good...there's also styleXP that I've heard about but I've never tried it because it only works on XP :|

yeah astonshell isnt so bad except that its not freeware likee litestep.. http://www.litestep.net
