What do you think of this new box?

For Christmas i am building a system with these specs:
AMD Athlon XP 2800+
ABIT AN7 motherboard
GeForce FX5200 128 MB
80GB hard drive
1 512MB stick of DDR PC3200 RAM
2 128MB sticks of leftover from an old comp
All other drives are leftovers as well.

Im planning on using 65GB for windows and 15GB for linux.

How do you like it, and most of all how does it compare to yours?

Also if you are planning on getting anything Tech related for christmas, whether it be an iPOD or iPAQ, then speak forth now.

You need a new graphics card, unless you plan on writing word documents and playing solitare (or older games).

That sounds pretty good, but don't you think a bit bigger hard drive would be better?

i agree the graphics card is not the best but it works for any game i play and for 3dsmax. Also i don't have the money for a better graphics card. 80GB is plenty for me

What Linux distro do you plan on using? You could easily get by using Fedora Core 3 with all the packages installed, if you're new to *nix.
