The Stranger, by Albert Camus.

Filled with absurdist philosophy. Good times, good read.

Speaking of which I hear that movie is a bit of a funny one. Although it does have Nicole Kidman... ah well.

I didn't mind the movie (except they cut out the LAST THREE CHAPTERS, and shuffled some of it).

I think there's been a lot of mixed reactions to the movie, though.

Of Mice and Men. Why do we have to read these books?

Oh, and for non-school purposes, The Old Wine Shades. Yeah, a bookstore employee suggested it to me.

I read that in year 10 for English... then I wrote an essay called "Albert Camus... enlightened or just plain stupid?"

Bad news. D=

I was reading Wicked on the bus ride home, put it in my bookbag as I was about to get off.
I come home to find that my bookbag was open the whole time, and Wicked gone.

Must organize search party!

Read the Third book of Nineteen Eighty Four (Starting at the last scene in the room over the.. shop, was it?) in a sleep deprived whim.

I feel the need to forewarn you of spoilers, even though you should know how it ends, and if you don't there has to be a sell by date on Spoilers, and if there isn't I got some bad news. Jesus dies.

"We are the dead" He said.
"We are the dead" Julia echoed dutifully.
"You are the dead" Said an Iron voice behind them.

That single paragraph gives me the chills :D
I'm still trying to find O'brian's speech though, the one about making him perfect before they kill him.
Edit: Yay, Wiki Quotes.
