The Discworld series and The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher.
Funny fantasy with a point to it. Insert a number of hearts here.

i love Flipped by Wendelin VAan Drannen - it's comical, simple and yet very heart-tugging... all about how the sum of the parts is greater than the whole...

then there's the classic love in the time of cholera by garcia-marquez!

spectacular! spectacular!

I have a couple favorite books:

Lord of the Rings (the trilogy)
The Hobbit
Catcher in the Rye

I bet if I read the Harry Potter books, they'd be in my list of favorites too.

My favorite book.. I suppose the Garden Gates series.. by.. I don't even remember. Patti Hill.

And Horsefeathers by Dandi Daley Mackall was a favorite for a while, but I think she stopped writing those.

By far The Belljar — Sylvia Plaith

Others I like include anything by Douglas Adams, Isaac Asimov or Ryu Murakami. :)

Star Wars: I, Jedi

Stackpole's tale of Corran Horn set during the Jedi Academy trilogy. I have only read it once and nearly completely memorized it. A few years ago I used it for a book report, never reread it and got an 'A' on the report.
