The Bell Jar.

since I've battled mental illness my whole life it was recomended to me. I can really related to the main character and what shes going through.

And the book really is like a female version of The Catcher in the Rye.

Both are recomended reads, if you dont mind something depressing.

also if you want another good "comming of age" style book, one of my all time favorites is The Perks of Being A Wallflower. I can really identify w. the main character and its a fantastic read.

Just finished The Partner. Nice book, but the ending is bittersweet.

I just finished The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton. It's an interesting book, but I don't really like the ending!

I'm rereading the Enchanted Forest Chronicales by Patricia C. Wrede. I'm on the last book, Talking to Dragons.

I had forgotten how much I enjoy these book. I remembered the first two books pretty well, but there were still a lot of parts I had forgotten so it was great rereading them. The third and fourth I can't remember anything at all... I'm pretty sure I've read them before, but I can't remember very much so it's great. ^^

Atonement by Ian McEwan. Absolutely fantastic book! Haven't been to see the movie though. Also just finished The Time Traveller's Wife.

I'm just about to start reading The Northern Lights (none of this Golden Compass for me!) - it's been a good 7 or so years since I've read them.

Just finished the Earthsea Quartet by Ursula Le Guin overnight (needed to take my mind off of something). Gonna borrow the "Magician's Guild" by Trudi Canavan trilogy off of a friend next methinks.

Speaking of which I hear that movie is a bit of a funny one. Although it does have Nicole Kidman... ah well.
