I work in retail, so I usually use the receipt for whatever snack I bought on my lunch break to mark my place in the book I'm reading on breaks. For books I read at home (I'm usually reading two books at once, one at home and one at work), I generally don't have a bookmark because I lose them.

I don't use bookmarks. I don't like using part of a book dustcover too, it just ruins the shape of it.

I just seem to memorise the page I'm on, but most of the time, I'm reluctant to finish until i read the chapter, and just remember the chapter name/number
