I bet there are some real die hard Jane Austen fans out there. I myself have only read Pride and Prejudice, but I am jsut starting Emma and I will be reading Sense and Sensibility.
I personally love her books
and I cant wait to finish some of her other books too!

Emma was my favorite. Couldn't get into Mansfield Park, that one dragged on and on and on.

I've never actually managed to read a Jane Austin book - i tried sence and sensibility when i was younger and didnt get very far in. however i started reading Pride and prejudice last night actually, and think i'll get further with it as i'm more familiar with the characters (i am terrible at remembering characters when they're introduced in a book and remembering who is who).

P&P had a great story, but I'm not used to the style of the period at all. I suppose the rest of her novels would be similar in my opinion.

the style definately takes time to get used too - thats why i'd never succeeded in reading any of her books in the past. But because i knew the p&p story it made reading it a lot easier. I've now finished it and have just started reading "persuasion"

Jane Austen is one of my favourite authors! I've read all her books, but I think Pride and Prejudice is still my favourite. The others are great of course, and I'm rereading Sense and Sensibility right now (again!)

I love Jane Austen's books!! They're some of my favorites. I've read all of them. My favorite is Pride and Prejudice, and Persuasion is very very good as well, but I like all of them.
