Soundtrack by Julie Bertagna. One of her other books, Exodus, is a favourite of mine. <3

Gotta read Life of Pi for school. i must say, it's one of the best books that could have been chosen to use for the exam

Soundtrack wasn't bad, but I still like Exodus a lot better. I'm currently reading Eats, Shoots and Leaves by Lynne Truss. I think she's a new heroine of mine.

Catch-22.
Just finished Dan Brown's Digital Fortress and Deception Point, weren't great, like Angels and Demons best. And Garth Nix's Sir Thrusday (I'm a sucker for childrens fantasy).

Artemis Fowl: The opal deception

I'm reading Lord of the Flies in Lit class.
I don't understand all the hype over it. We have two chapters left until the end, and it doesn't strike me as a particularly good book. Very confusing and annoying.

I didnt read Lord of the Flies until grade 10. Its not that it is a bad book, its just scary. Unfortunately it isn't a far leap for me to see a child go from being upset and a bully trying to impress his peers to pushing a boulder on someoens head without realizing the concequences.
I just finished
The Lottery again, and I am in the middle of reading
I Never Promised You a Rose Garden. BUT I managed to get that copy of Neverwhere I was hankerin' for so I might just forget about everything and read it. Its lurking on my kitchen counter singing "reeeeead meeee reaaddd meee"!

I love
Lord of the Flies. Liked it the first time I read it, and liked it even more when we did it for English lit and actually explored the meaning.
Speaking of which, I'm actually currently rereading it. Hooray for exam prep.

Just finished Feed. It was all right. Not great. The ending was sort of anticlimatic. And as the back of the book says "A girl who decides to fight the feed", or something of the sort, I was totally expecting Violet to start a revolution or something and get everyone to get rid of the feeds and go back to being actual people again. But no. She had to die.
I'm now re-reading Many Waters by Madeline L'engle. Good book. I like her books. Well, the ones about the Murry- O'Keefes I really like. Not the ones about the Austins as much. I couldn't even get through The Young Unicorns. (One the the very few books I've started and not finished, 2-4, depending on what you count.)
