Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight ep. #1-2 - So good. I could watch the opening and ending over and over (well, I actually did a couple times ). This takes place 5 years after the OVA ends. A couple things are a bit out of sync with the previous series, like Orson and Shiris are met for the first time in ep. 1 and the Scepter of Domination isn't found yet. The continuity issues are a bit confusing because I'm not sure how exactly the previous events happened for the TV series if the Scepter hasn't been found yet. I preferred the Orson and Shiris meeting in the OVA better, but that's just my opinion. The TV series is very captivating so far. I can't wait to watch more.

Oh! I forgot to mention that after each episode is a Welcome to Lodoss Island! mini. The main characters are all chibi. We have the manga, but it's just adorable to see it. This section is *hilarious* and I have a random urge to do the Parn dance. lol

Gundam Seed Destiny 44

The Twelve Kingdoms 1. Meh, it's okay. I prefer it when the first episode totally blows me away and draws me in, something this didn't do. Plus, the quality of the copy was terrible. A new acquaintance kind of forced her fansubs on me. I know it's commercially released, and that's what I'd prefer to be watching, but I didn't want to seem rude to the new acquaintance, so I borrowed her dvd with the first 21 episodes. If it even remotely starts drawing me in, I think I'm going to start renting it from the video store instead. The quality of the copy she loaned me is so bad that I can barely get through an episode without getting a splitting headache. I'd think that it was my computer, except that the other stuff I watch on it is just fine.

Rewatched Magic Knight Rayearth 1-4 as my second season economy box set came in today. The next several days will be major MKR days as we work our way through the entire series. Hmm...I need to consider getting the OVAs just to round out the collection, even if they are supposed to be weird/bad.

Gakuen Alice 11 - It's been perhaps a half year since the show finished and they still haven't subbed half of it.

The Twelve Kingdoms 2. I nearly turned it off during the first 10 minutes, but at least the second half of the episode was kind of interesting. I'm not sure this is going to be something I really like, but at least for now I'll keep giving it a try.
