My Future Plans (Anime and Manga Related, DON'T LAUGH)

I am currently a sophomore in high school. I am planning on stregnthening my ability in the Japanese language (i.e. college major) and moving to Japan, where I will start the world's first Manga Library.
(I'm not kidding.) I'll hold both English and Japanese manga, and I'll also have some Anime DVD's that you could check out, like in any other library. Oh,well. I think I'll be making a difference.
...What do you guys think?

I think that's a fairly good idea. Although, Japan may already have things like that, America/Europe on the hand may not.

Definetley! If one were here in New Jersey or on the East Coast I'd be planning a nice little road trip there. (And then moving in next door and visiting everyday, but that's besides the point!)

That's similiar to what I have.

We're building up a library of anime and manga for our girls and hopefully, their friends and such in the future. Hopefully, we can spread the love a bit.

Gah, our girls are so lucky. I would have loved to have this much anime and manga at my fingertips growing up.

I do agree with robot, though. You might be better off starting a library out of Japan. Japan is where anime and manga originate and I'm sure they already have their fill.

Having a library where it's not as available might be more helpful to anyone who would use it.

A travelling anime/manga library, like they have with some book associations, would be cool.

I think you should do it here in America. Japan, being a huge Manga/ANime country wouldn't be too surprised if soemone did that. I say learn your japanese, go buy as much manga as possible in Japan then take it back to america

I agree with everyone else, though...base it in the U.S.

Do it and I'll be your best friend forever and ever. XD Of course, I'd probably have to move quite a ways, since it seems it would gain more attention on one of the coasts rather than in the Mid West.
