Personally, I'm not all that sure. I have a decent sized collection and I find it hard to choose one over another.
Overall, I think I would definitely have to go with Bubblegum Crisis. The music wins it for me.

Toss up between:
Gundam Wing, Eva, Suzumiya, and Bebop
Also, too many honorable mentions.

Really hard choice for me, because it's constantly changing.
Right now, it's a three-way tie between Haruhi Suzumiya, Negima! (and Negima!? as well) and Naruto.

Fullmetal Alchemist. Don't let my apparent Bleachiness fool you.
Then again, I haven't picked up any new series in a while, so suggestions would be nice (I have watched some Haruhi Suzumiya).

When I watched animé way back when, I loved Digimon and Sailor Moon. Digimon the most; it owned my life. Pokémon was good too.

Yeah thats my fave too.. but when I was younger I liked a lot more. Digimon and Pokemon.. I still watch them sometimes. >>; And for some reason I hold All-Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku close to my heart.

The pokemon anime will always have a place in my heart. I'd get up to watch it at 11 AM every Sunday. ^_^
I can't really decide a favorite anime (mostly because I don't really watch many), but I really liked Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei (So Long Mr. Despair). It's so random and hilarious and the soundtrack is awesome.
You get five bonus points if you've actually heard of it.

That officially wins the weirdest anime name award for the century.

My favorite anime of all time is Sailor Moon. Mew Mew Power though it isn't as good as Sailor Moon but I got to love it nonetheless despite the fact that Mew Mew Power is seen as a Sailor Moon clone.
I loved to watch the Sailor Moon anime and I loved singing the theme song when it used to be on but it annoyed me that Sailor Moon never went past the Follow The Leader episode for UK Sailor Moon fans. (In other words after that episode was shown it keep going back to the A Moon Star Is Born episode for the UK Sailor Moon fans.)
The Pokemon anime I believe is the longest running anime that's still shown in UK. (Digimon and Sailor Moon aren't shown in the UK nowadays which is a shame since I never got to see the Digimon Frontier episodes and the Sailor Moon episodes past the end of the Sailor Moon R saga.)
The only animes that I watch on TV nowadays in the UK are Pokemon, Mew Mew Power (aka Tokyo Mew Mew with alterations e.g. Zoey saying "Mew Mew style, Mew Mew grace, Mew Mew power in your face!" in place of Ichigo's "To give you full gratitude, I'll serve for you nya!" and "For the future of the Earth, I will be of service nya!") and the animes on AmineCentral such as Fullmetal Alchemist, Witch Hunter Robin, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Ghost In The Shell.
Each of the shows on AnimeCentral are shown twice a day between 9pm and 6am and AnimeCentral can be found on Sky channel 199 in the UK.

In terms of Sailor Moon's quality, I would rank them from best to worst as probably 3,5=1,2,4. 3 was where it got serious, and the villains were really good, 5 is constant development without much filler while regaining a season one feel, season one was great as it had the most story in it as comparatively the subsequent seasons were like "and more villains from outer space showed up, season 2 built on season one but wasn't that flash, and season 4 ws tripe.
