I've seen both the anime Metropolis and the original silent film Metropolis (quite a difference between the two plot-wise).

I liked it. It's kinda sad but I liked it.

I saw it a while back, it was interesting, I like the animation.

It's an excellent movie. We have it on dvd and manga. Tim's read that whole group of stories by Osamu Tezuka: Lost World, Metropolis, Next World. He said they were really good.
