Opening day :D

Let's go Red Wings, let's go! *clap clap*

It's weird with the new rules!

Who are you rooting for?

Calgary is the closest team to me... but i'll cheer for the Oilers; home town and all.
Not like they'll win... but hey! It's a nice thought.

The Indianapolis Ice! Oh wait...they're minor leagues. :P I have yet to learn how to really enjoy hockey. I mean, I loved the 2 Ice games I saw, but I'm the type of person that needs a hometown/homestate team to root for, and I don't have that in NHL (or MLB for that matter). I might try catching a game or two to see if it strikes my fancy though. Especially considering the fact that I've been able to watch a few MLB games this year without getting terribly bored.

Oh YAY!

I like the new rules, the high sticking, slashing, ect., and the offside, two-line pass and the iceing ones are all good :) And the ice seems so much bigger now :)

Sens won last night. Stupid Toronto. We can now say that the Senators won the first ever NHL shoot out :)

Already, just from last night's games, you can see that the games will be more high scoring. The ice looks really weird without the red line... and the goalies look so little!

The Wings happen to be 5-1!

Or is it 4-1?

W/e. They still rock.

Out loud.

Detroit is 5-1, Ottawa is 5-0, along with Nashville. We are tied for first, although Ottawa is shown as 1st.

Ditto this year for the NJ Devils, but yea, they've been my team, so:

Go Devils!

I'd like to politely point out the obvious supremacy of the Canucks of Vancouver and how they shall procede to pummel your teams to a bloody pulp.

Ah thenk hew.

Well, I'll be missing the Mudbugs, Wildcatters, and Sea Wolves :( but I'm still going to root for the Hurricanes.

I'm a San Jose Sharks fan. An old family friend used to play for them, so they've always been my team. They're not doing that great lately, though. :(
