Green Day [Split #2]

Let's talk about Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)! I've yet to find anyone that doesn't like that song, even people that really don't like Green Day.

Random Fact: Their manager was hesitant about them putting it on the album (or maybe it was that the manager was hesitant about letting them release it as a single? One or the other) because they didn't think it would be very popular with the fans as it was so different. But it ended up being a huge hit.

"Time of Your Life" is one of the only Green Day songs i've heard, and I much prefer it to American Idiot or Blvd. Of Broken Dreams.
I see so many people now who are "Big" Green Day fans, but have only heard their current album. *shrug*

You are soooooo great. Liking all the same songs as me I wub you. Because Good Riddance is sooooooooooooooo great. I've just stuck it on because I haven't listened to it for a while XD

I listen to Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) when I'm feeling nostaligic.

Everyone seems to love that song. It is great though. ^_^

I like "Holiday" It is good, I don't really like BofBD anymore. It's too overplayed.

When I Come Around? That was the other one.
They played it on a burned track at an arcade I went to, before it closed down. Those 2 songs are ok.

I think there are just songs that pop up every now and then that everyone can't help but love like Good Riddance. I just mentioned how I have never heard anyone say they didn't like Where's The Love by BEP, and I don't ever remember anyone who didn't like Angel.

basket case was written to.. "commemorate" the bassists (his name escapes me in my tipsy state) mental disorder.

why i know this im not sure, but possibly the big "Green day R0xx0rz1!1!!!" thing one of the music chanels a few weeks ago (occured since my birthday, as i watched it on my Sky box in ma room..)
