*clings onto A Rush Of Blood To The Head album* Love it.

You sound like my brother. He would play it in his room a ton and I'd just keep hearing it over and over and over...and I currently can't stand it, even though Coldplay is pretty good. XD

Anyways, my list is Alison Krauss, Annie Lennox (anyone ever heard the song she sang for LotR?), Shania Twain, Cher, Celine Dion, Ayumi Hamasaki, Yoko Kanna, Kelly Clarkson, Diddo, Gretchen Wilson...and that's enough. I'm too lazy to type more. :)

...That was definitely a variety....

The first person I thought of was Sarah Brightman. Actually no, the first people I thought of was people I know IRL. After that, Sarah, Vanessa Carlton, and the singer from The Calling. He's not the greatest, but I like his voice. Michael Ball.... Other Broadway people...... Or were we talking popular music? XD

Oh man, I couldn't agree more. Simple Plan's first record I could tolerate, but this new one...what happened?! I can't stand any of its singles at all, not really because of the music (although it's bad), but really just because of Pierre.

Unfortunately, my sister seems oblivious to the irritating voice- and likes it too. Which, of course, means I have to hear it over and over again.

I've never liked them anyway, I just couldn't get into them, but I know, somehow, he's got really really bad. -_-

Sarah Brightman has an AMAZING voice. The notes she can hit is extremely impressive. I think she actually might've sang something from Phantom of the Opera, because her voice can hit those really high notes.

... the part was written for her.

Weber wrote it... with notes like that specifically for her. Or so the rumors go.

She has sang it... very very often.

Has anyone mentioned Annie Lennox? I love her voice, I think she's excellent. Paul Rodgers has an excellent voice too. As does the wonderful Kate Bush. ^_^

I think Brody Dalle has a great voice, though probably some people will disagree with me and say she can't sing for toffee. But she can inject real anger and emotion into her voice, sometimes with impressive almost like howls which can be amazing. Dave Grohl can do the same. :)

Skin from Skunk Anansie had an amazing voice, it's so powerful and beautiful, but I don't know what's happened to her. I know Skunk Anansie split up, but I haven't heard anything about her and what she is up to.
o_O

annie lennox! yes! and kate bush also.

i like the distillers but they grate on me after a while. i like brody's voice.

ditto dave grohl.

what about my husband, josh homme of QOTSA? GOOD GOD NOTHING LIKE A 6FT GINGER BLOKE CROONING AWAY <3
