Yeah I think that is really cool

Yeah, the two videos have similar scenes and the theme, yet the speed of the videos makes the two completely different.

I hate to say this but, BBD is starting to really annoy me. I used to lover it, but now it's way overplayed.

Yup, it is overplayed. It's so annoying that I caught myself singing to it. I know, sad. And how can I catch myself singing to a song? Anywho, the song I think is not at all catchy compared to "American Idiot" was and I really don't like the video.
If his shadow is the only one to walk beside him, than why the hell are there two others guys beside him? Even if they are in the band, it contradicts the whole song. And no, they aren't his shadows because he says "my shadow" meaning himself. And I'm babbling on and on.

I feel American Idiot was a major rip-off of NOFX's Franco Unamerican and the American Idiot cd, The war on Errorism

I thought the same thing about the whole "Shadow walks beside me" line.
At one point it even looks like the other band member is looking at him as he walks beside him.
Kind of weird for a song about being alone.

Personally I think its got something to do with him feeling alone, like he feels he can't talk to anyone about how he's feeling. So even though he has other people around him, he can't express his true feelings to them. It then links into the theme of the whole album that it's called "American Idiot" because he's a confused American (said in a few interviews) and he doesn't want to say anything because he doesn't know how other people feel. Which in effect, makes the problem worse, as no one is willing to admit they are confused by everything going on in America.
Hope that made some sence.

OMG!!!!!!!!!
I went to see Green Day last night and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to!!!
We queued for 6 and 1/2 hours so we got on the front row
New Found Glory were really good and Jordan came over to right where we were stood and I got his armpit in my face!!!
Green Day were AMAZING we were stood right where Billy Joe was singing and he laughed at me getting crushed.
We did have to get pulled out of the front though cos my best mate has asthma and she couldn't breathe in the crush.
We watched the rest of the gig dancing around nearer the back.
They played Good Riddance last and I cried my eyes out
I was definatly worth freezing all day and then getting squished to death!!!

I agree. (off topic) I really thought that cd was good, a nice save from punk in drublic (on topic).
Sellouts. They used to be allright... dookie was great... but now... And before anyone says "punk", I beg of you, put the word "pop" behind it, I can't stand genres to be called something they are not.

What is all the fuss about Dookie?? Personally I find 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours better than Dookie. >_< Maybe it's because everyone is like "OMG!!111 Dookie is t3h punk r0xx0r!!111four."
Sorry for the "1337 5p34k"

What I find funny, is that a year or two ago, if I mentioned Green Day in a room full of 12-14 year olds, quite a few of them wouldn't know who I was talking about. But now they're big again, and everyone knows who they are.
