So, have any of you bought the soundtrack to Juno? It's one of my favorite CDs now and many people I've talked to who own it are in love with it. I'm so glad that I was exposed to some of the artists on there. I've fallen in love with Belle & Sebastian and Kimya Dawson's music is just adorable. If you like folk/indie music at all, this album is a great find. They also have some Buddy Holly and a track by The Kinks thrown in for good measure.

My favorite song on it is "Piazza, New York Catcher" by Belle & Sebastian. Check that out if you can.

I love Kimya Dawson. I might just download it, even though I'm yet to see Juno.

They have a bunch of her stuff from Moldy Peaches and Antsy Pants, too.

I heard the soundtrack was amazing, as well as the movie.

I'll definitely give it a try :)

I actually bought the soundtrack off of your recommendation Fidds. I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet though. Hopefully tomorrow during my commute to and from work I'll listen to it :)

I really think you'll enjoy it. I love driving around while that CD is playing. :)

So I finally got a chance to listen to the soundtrack last week. I have to say that I like half of it, and that's about it. I'm really not a fan of Kimya Dawson. Her songs all sound basically the same and her voice gets on my nerves somewhat. Other than her songs, I really like the rest of the soundtrack, especially the duet at the end :)

I was familiar with Moldy Peaches before, but this soundtrack has inspired me to find some more of their music to listen to. Kimya Dawson's songs are so dreamy and random, it'll be hard for me to get sick of them. However, my favourite song on this soundtrack will forever be "All I Want is You" by Barry Louis Polisar. <3

Okay, so after my initial reaction to the CD, I officially love all of it and I'm a big fan of Kimya Dawson. This CD is now one of my favorites in my entire collection :)

Check out her new song "I Like Giants". It's available for free download on her official myspace page.
