We've all seen bands/artists appear with one hit song and than suddenly vanish. My question is, which bands/artists do you wish were not 'one hit wonders'? And, which band/artist should be a 'one hit wonder'?
One Hit Wonder: A band/artist debuting only one hit song.
Two Hit Wonder: A band/artist debuting only two hit songs.
My Opinion- Should've NOT been a One Hit Wonder
T.A.T.U- I wish they had another hit single. Call me crazy but I did enjoy their song, "All the things she said".
Solid Harmonie- Many of you might have not heard of this group as when I was in Europe, they were pretty popular. They had a couple hit songs and I believe they broke up. I wish they remained a group and made another album.
My Opinion- Should be a One Hit Wonder
50 Cent- I hate this rapper. I hate his songs, I strongly feel he should be a One Hit Wonder.

As soon as I saw this topic, I thought 'The Cheeky Girls and The Fast Food Rockers' :p

Maybe not one hit, but two or three hit wonders:
- The Venga Boys
- Aqua
- Gorillaz

I can certainly argee with you on T.A.T.U and All the things she said. I enjoyed listening to that song over and over again.

Aqua. Thanks to Aqua I can't get the Barbie Girl song out of my head.

This is incredibly true. They just change where the scratchy sounds come in. However: why do Linkin Park insist on releasing half their album as singles? Seriously...why? Most (read as: decent) bands release 2, maybe 3.

Ammer, you took this off of Muchmusic, didn't you?
(And t.A.T.u. has two singles out- the other one being "Not Gonna Get Us".)
Hmm...can't think of any one hit wonders at the moment, but I'd wish Britney Spears was one. She can dance...but she can't sing very well. Oh, and Hilary Duff- can't sing at all, her recorded songs have to be played over her voice on live performances.

In my opinion, should've been one-hit-wonders:
Avril Lavigne
Britney Spears
Hilary Duff
Justin Timberlake
Boy bands and their solo spin offs in general
Spice Girls
I really can't think of any bands that were one-hit-wonders that I really liked.

What I think should have all been One Hit Wonders:
People from American Idol *stabs Fox*
I can stand pretty much anything else, but they just keep coming >_<
Oh yeah, and Britney Spears and Hillary Duff.

There songs sound diffrent to me. I mean they have this certain sound that you know right away that its Linkin Park. But I'm sorry I'll have to disagree with you two right there.

Actual LP have two songs, the one they use over and over again, and the first half of that 'Breaking the habit' one (then it reverts)

Mm...one hit wonders that shouldn't have been- I wish the New Radicals stayed together. They had such a good hit with "You Get What You Give", but then they broke up in order to do producing instead of recording. Haven't heard from them since 1998, I think. Ooh, and Fastball with their song "The Way".
There's also Tal Bachmann with "She's So High" (he just released a new single, it hasn't been very popular though), Sky with their album "Paradise" (the singer left, was replaced twice- duo went downhill from there)....oooh, I could go on for quite a while if I didn't have this lapse of forgetfulness.
Wow, this totally jogs back memories.
