"How to Save a Life"- The Fray. Not because of its content, but because it was the song playing when something fairly devastating happened to me (or when I realized how devastating the event was, more accurately). Can't listen to it without crying.
Others:
"Gone Forever"- Three Days Grace (this one hits a major sore spot)
"Because of You"- Kelly Clarkson (same as above)
"Iris"- Goo Goo Dolls
"You and Me"- Lifehouse
"Existentialism on Prom Night"- Straylight Run
"Ruthless"- Something Corporate
"Hang"- Matchbox Twenty
Those are the sad ones. A lot of them are about broken love and other crap like that... that's not why they're important to me. The romantic aspect is changed to suit different people and situations that I've come across.
And ones that make me happy/feel other things:
"Butterflies and Hurricanes"- Muse
"In Too Far"- Acceptance
"Original of the Species"- U2
"Bittersweet Symphony"- The Verve
"Rooftops"- Lostprophets
"Spitting Games"- Snow Patrol
Thu Nov 23, 2006 12:41 am
"Iris"- Goo Goo Dolls
"Seize The Day" - Avenged Sevenfold
"Through Glass" - Stone Sour
Theres 3 hit a major spot.
"Falls Apart" - Hurt
"Departure Plan" - Soilwork
"You and Me"- Lifehouse
"Hang by a Moment" - Lifehouse
"Vermillion Pt2" - Slipknot
"Scars" - Papa Roach
"Goodbye My Lover" - James Blunt
"I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" - Aerosmith
"When I'm Gone" - Eminem
Thu Nov 23, 2006 12:52 am
"Because Of You" - Kelly Clarkson
"Confessions Of A Broken Heart (Daughter To Father)" - Lindsay Lohan (Change daughter to son and father to mother)
"My Innocence" - Lindsay Lohan
"Like You" - Evanescence
"Snow White Queen" - Evanescence
"Speechless" - Melissa O'Neil
"Outside Looking In" - Melissa O'Neil
All of them have personal meaning besides the two Evanescence songs, those simply convey strong emotions.

Roadrunner United: Army Of The Sun: My favourite song, holds a dear place in my heart and the heart of the one I love. (See: The chorus; "Everlasting, setting sun, you're my Angel, you're the only one)
Atreyu: Our sick story (Thus far) : long story short, I'll give you the lyrics.
"My heart is full of love, my head is held in shame"
brings back some... Bitter-sweet memories.
Honorable mentions:
Switchfoot: Meant to live
Jem: 24
Drawing a blank at the minute, but I know there are others that stirr deep emotion that I'd rather remain buried.

i have to agree with those. Army of the sun really has a place in that list for me. Its such an amazing song! its the best song on the whole Roadrunner united Cd for sure. The lyrics of that song really get to me.
Although I like atreyu, I can't relate to that song as much. I mean I really like that song but it doesn't hit that spot.

Lie I (Possibly neglected to say actually..) Our sick story has a place in ym heart because it reminds me of some events that have occured recently(ish)
Another good one is "Lip Gloss And Black", also by Atreyu.
Again, because of the things that I associate with it.
Ane being one of about Three songs that I can sing along too.
(Lip gloss, Army of the Sun, and Time is running out, by muse)

Superman - Five For Fighting
100 Years - Five For Fighting
How to Save a Life - The Fray
Travelin' Soldier - Dixie Chicks
Proof - Coldplay
Fix You - Coldplay
Amsterdam - Coldplay
... On second thought, almost everything by Coldplay would fit this list. But those three I listed most of all.
And none of these have any personal meaning to me except the one by the Dixie Chicks. I haven't heard that song in ages, but I can still remember it.

Lipgloss and black is truly amazing. I can relate to it a little but it doesn't have the impact it used to have
I think i listened to it too much
This World Can't Tear Us Apart is amazing! I just bought Triviums new CD and that song really hit me hard.
The Chorus goes as so.
All the pain in this world won't stop us now, For we have each other
All the hate in this world can't tear us apart, This love is forever
Those lyrics are really powerful.
