Let us all gather here to discuss Pirates of the Caribbean!

(Apologies if a thread like this has already been made; I looked and didn't find anything.)

Well, Pirates 2 will be coming out next July; the teaser trailer will apparently air in front of a Disney movie coming out this year, probably Chronicles of Narnia.

The second and third Pirates movies are being filmed back-to-back, so we can get a third Pirates movie a year after the second. More Captain Jack is always good!

I loved POTC. It was hard to believe Disney pulled off such an amazing movie like this. I can't wait for POTC 2 and 3.

Another round or two of Captain Jack would be nice, providing they make a good movie. They already have 1 bonus point for not blatently calling it POTC 2.

The only thing I hated about PotC was the fact that everyone started using savvy and whatever-the-heck the pirates said. ._. That was so annoying.

Jack was the best thing about the film, with Barbossa and his crew being close second.

When I saw it about ten people cried "LOOK! THAT GUY FROM THE OFFICE" in the cinema.

i saw the first one and i enjoyed it so ill probably catch the sequels

Very True!! Orlando Bloom too, I can't wait!! Even if the movie is horrible, jsut stare at the 2 of them, and I'm happy for a while.

My favorite part of the entire movie:

Will Turner: Where's Elizabeth?
Jack Sparrow: She's safe, just like I promised. She's all set to marry Norrington, just like she promised. And you get to die for her, just like you promised. So we're all men of our word really... except for Elizabeth, who is in fact, a woman.

I'm thoroughly in a PotC mood now... I must have a PotC themed set. As soon as my current request is done.

Blah, I hate it when they make sequels. Disney usually makes crap ones, which makes you like the first good one just a little bit less. =/

I'm sure they sequals will be just fine.
Now I'm not in love with the first PoTC like almost everyone is. I just thought it was a decent movie, but I'll go see the sequals in the theaters.

At least it's not starring Will and Elizabeth's teenage son/daughter who rebels against his/her old seemingly old fashioned parents and decides to go join Jack as a pirate because pirates are darned cool and then through many trials and hardships he/she learns it's not all that great to be a pirate and then goes back home to his/her parents to learn the spirit of love and family which all will be released direct to video to compete against Kronk's New Groove, Leroy and Stitch, Land Before Time CCCLXIX, and Toy Story 3 1/2: Pixar's Revenge (half of those titles I did not make up).

But I'm sure they'll make up for this lack of Uber Disney Plot in POTC 4.
