I saw this movie today and I thought it was pretty good. Kinda boring and long-winded in parts, but it was good.
I wasn't really expecting it to be as violent and graphic as it was though. I mean I knew it was rated R, but I dunno, just didn't expect anything other than some language :P heh

The visuals of the movie were just plain awesome. I loved just watching it so much. Everything just looked so... "cool".
It was like every single shot of the movie could be made into a poster because every single shot of the movie just looked that awesome.
I specially loved how Elijah Wood's character looked. Was just... creepy but cool <3
It's just really hard to describe the visuals... it was like watching a walking talking live action comic book with nudity, ALOT of violence and alot of gore :P

Out of 5 stars.. 1 being lowest 5 being the best... I'd give it a 3. It was long and kinda boring in parts but the graphics were spiffy :)

I think my score would go up to 4 once I watch it again when it comes out on DVD. I'm sure I'll appreciate the story a bit more when i watch it in a comfortable place.

I really loved how it stayed true to the comics. It was supposed to be like one of those narrated, black and white detective movies. Excellent.

I've been interested in seeing this, espicially because of the visuals. I do expect it to be long, so I'll most likely wait untill it's out on DVD to rent it. For some reason, I can never get too into plots at a movie theater.

I became slightly apprehensive when I saw that Quentin Tarantino was a guest director, and my fears turned out to be true when the blood/gore/body parts started flying around. *shudder*
I have a suspicion that it only made it through with an R rating because it was black and white, which made it really cool. I've never seen a film with so many celebrities though. The women were gorgeous, and the random colors showing only played up their features.

Sin city. AMAZING movie. Never read the comic but wow. I really really enjoyed the movie. The theatrics were amazing. Could have done without the blood spurting tarintino style, but it was fine. The color adaptations were awesome.

I will see it but I expect it to be very violent..and i have to be in the mood for that.

Vengeance is a lazy form of grief.

I went to see it Saturday. I went with my Dad since it is only 18A here :) . It felt like you were watching a comic book, and it was very artistic. I really liked it :)
