Whether you agree with how she lives her life or not, whether you like her style or you think she's overrated... Do you overall like or dislike her as an entertainer?

No, she's way overated. She can't sing anyway, heard her live and she was total rubbish.

I loved Madonna when I was growing up. Cheesy 80's Madonna was fun, with her wild style, silly movies, and pop songs. I think at some point, though, she decided being rich and famous wasn't enough, and she had to be important too. I'm not a fan of smug, self-important Madonna, with her British-ish accent, her children's books, and her Kaballah string.

As an entertainer, no... Her music just isn't my taste.

She's just so weird. I don't know if I like her or hate her. Some of the stunts she pulls (Fake British accent, Britney kiss, etc...) are just stupid. But her songs aren't half bad, some are pretty decent.

One of the two biggest stars of 80's pop music (the other being Michael Jackson and compared to him she's perfectly sane)... I think she's recorded some of the best pop music ever made. Recently maybe she's waned a bit but she has done really well to keep reinventing herself. I don't read Hello or OK so I'm not sure about her 'off screen' persona.

Didn't think much of her attempt to out-swear Snoop at Live 8, though :P

I've never really listened to her music. The songs I have heard, are nothing special. They're not bad, but they're not good in particular. I guess she has just always been there.

If she really couldn't sing, I doubt she'd last in the entertainment business this long.

Not sure how I feel about her music, but I really love the kinds of things she does. She just seems like a somewhat insane and crazy person to me (not in a Michael Jackson way), and I like that. I voted yes. Even if it's not by music, she sure can entertain.

No offence Dawny but many so-called singers can't sing live. There are plenty of nifty little devices to make your voice sound better that it actually is. They may sound good on a record but you'll be mightily disappointed when you hear them live. Besides, you don't need to sing to be in the entertainment business, you just need luck, charisma and that certain X factor, which I have to admit that Madonna has.

I don't think she's that great of a singer and her music is pretty tacky. (Though it is fun to sing when you're randomly hyper.)

She's great, she can sing and act, unlike some celebrities.
