Elephant - pretentious bullcrapx1000

Moulin Rouge - way too plastic and uneffectual.

Butterfly Effect - need I explain? oh look at all the trauma we can put in a movie, i DARE you to cry. oh god. save it.

Deconstructing Harry - like, what the heck. Woody Allen needs to just stop making movies and move to a remote island far far away.

Anything Else - BUT HE DOESNT LISTEN and ruins a could-have-been-insanely-awesome performance by Christina Ricci by casting just about the WORST guy in opposition for her. (Oddly enough, he played very WELL against her in prozac nation)

Did you actually watch the whole thing? A lot of people watch half of it, and hate it, but if they go back and watch the whole thing, they usually love it.

I did exactly that.
And nothing changed. I was even more disgusted by the ending that could be seen a mile away.
Sorry.

Face it Chass, some people hate the movies you love.

**stomps foot** NO IGG! NEVER!

And... Istan? The ending wasn't really supposed to be surprising at all, considering Christian's first words are "This story is about love, the woman I loved is.. dead." And then he goes on to tell the story of what had happened the previous summer.

But mehh... Baz Luhrmann's works are all quite.. different. I suppose it's just an aquired taste.

Nah nah, Chass :P
I like Romeo + Juliet but I don't really like Moulin Rouge.
Bwahahahaha!

I sat through Moulin Rouge, and I have to say it was HORRIBLE. My heart broke for all the good songs ripped off to make that crapfest. It was trying to be campy, but it was just terrible. Chicago was much better.

I didn't pay much attention when we rented Moulin Rouge so I can't say I hated it. I didn't know that most (if not all) of the music was taken from already well known songs. I admit I found that disappointing. But ah well.

*slightly embarrassed* It's okay Chass, I like Moulin Rouge! *gets hit by rotten fruit and veg*

How can you say you hate a film when you've never even seen it?

Anyway, Cabin Fever has got to be the worst film ever made. I mean, just completely randomly, this dude jams a screwdriver through anouther geezer's ear. Why?! Another mind-numbingly stupid part was where this woman's got this disease of the skin and she's shaving her legs. All blood is dripping down her legs but she just keeps shaving! Why not just STOP?!

I must say, the pinnacle of this entire movie was when they set this old bloke on fire and he goes running off screaming into some woods manically waving his arms. On fire. Must say, it was rather funny.
