Eh, I don't really care about Britney Spears. The only song of hers I like is Toxic, and that's because it's a damn good song.

And yeah, I saw the response on YouTube. I can't believe that is a man. I mean, that's actually quite scary. Funny as hell too though.

Oh man! when they went ahead and zoomed in 50 cent and rihanna and that lot i couldn't help but laugh!
It was like the camera man was so disgusted by Britney and her dance moves that he had to go film how disgusted the celebs were!

The outfit was hideous.
But you have to admit, that after 2 kids her body is still better than average. She should have been wearing something more her age. The hair extensions were disgusting. They looked as if they were glued to her scalp by her sons who thought it was PVA glue or something, and the lip-syncing was terrible.
Alright, we all know at some point most singers will lip-sync it, but at least put some effort into it!

I was never really a fan of Britney's before(though I listen to some of her songs), but I still support her from my pool of utter loathing after this whole divorce/shaved head/rehab thing. You got to give it to her for at least trying to make a comeback.

I couldn't watch the whole video I was so bored. What a serious lack of energy. The song isn't half bad, but her performance.. sad. She should have waited until the press around her died down before attempting a comeback. You want to surprise people.

In one of my art classes we have to buy an object from the dollar store and tinker around with it until we think it's worth $10. I brought one of those fake "Darbie" kind of dolls and I'm making a Britney Spears action figure.

I promise to post pictures.

I honestly feel bad for her.

It's not even that she has no talent or anything of the sort -- it's because she's in such a downward spiral and there doesn't seem to be any way out.

But in other news, she is blaming the bad performance on her own image. She said when she started to perform, she saw herself in the back of the auditorium and realised she was fat hence her "I look like a fat pig!" when she ran off the stage crying (We didn't see that, it was when she actually went behind the scenes).

Personally, I'd like to believe it but didn't she rehearse on the same stage earlier? Couldn't she have seen herself there? Hmm.

Perhaps there was a big screen at the back of the auditorium, and she couldn't see herself until the cameras were on?
Now that I'm looking for it, I could see those stumbles and halfhearted arm motions as a realization that she should have moved past this phase long ago.

It would have been SOOOO much better if she had done some of her old, decent songs like Hit Me Baby One More Time and I'm Not a Girl. The irony for that second one would have been delicious. Seriously, though, if you're going to make a comeback, you want people to be able to remember how great you were before, and doing the whole cliche "singing about the tabloids" bit isn't helping.

EDIT: The old video isn't working, so here's a new one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpiwhkK1ZXs Stupid Viacom and their censorship... This one also has the Sarah Silverman routine on it, which would have made me CRY if I were Britney. She really tore her apart.

I've been hearing about this, but I only just watched the clip.

MADE OF FAIL.

I don't like Britney, but this was terrible even for her. It was just .. I've seen better singer/dancers in the first stage of auditions for Australian Idol, and they were terrible.

Gone, forever.

Why, though? It's her own fault that she didn't rehearse when she got in Vegas. She ordered a few frozen margaritas, and when she finally showed up, she had a frozen margarita in her hand. It's her own fault for getting wasted.

If there's anyone I feel sorry for, it's Criss Angel. He worked really hard on that performance, and she turned it into a mockery.

EDIT - I take back my previous statement. I read in a recent issue of People magazine (which I'm still yet to understand why I was doing that) that MTV pulled their contract with him because some of the stuff was "unsafe".
...okay. Yeah. Whatever.
