I saw this movie..absolutely loved it!! anyone else seen it?

Not yet, do intend too though.
never did see Firefly -which is a shame, considering how good ive heard it is, or rather, was.

Been hearing so many good things about it, so I'll go and see it soon.

What's it about though?

WOOT! Saw it earlier today and I just LOVED IT!!!
The humor is so silly which I just love.
And I LOOVED the intense scary moments. OMG the reavers freak me out so SO much. Crazy mutated people + cannibalism= my worst nightmare.

I thought the plot was really good. I wasn't really expecting it to go the way it went with the uh.. story and such... *nod* heh

There was one thing that did tick me off though....

I HATED that they killed the pilot! OMG I wanted to sob when he got killed. That really ticked me off. There wasn't any reason to kill him other than to stir things up some.


Oh something I did like that disturbed me a bit... heh

I just loved the twist with the planet. With the thing they did and messed up to make the people literally just lay down and die. WOW! Very creepy to just imagine it. And then to learn that that's where the Reavers were created b/c it had the opposite effect on them.

But that video was the thing that disturbed me. The one with the woman explaining what happened. I think it's just b/c I'm terrified by the ideas of zombies.. and since the reavers are sorta like im.. they scare me. So when the woman was explaining everything and then gets attacked and then she trys to kill herself but they get to her before she can and and all we can hear are her screams b/c obviously it's not gonna show what's happening. And even if they could've shown the gore that was obviously taking place... I think it was more terrifying for the audience to imagine what was happening to her. Very disturbing but still very cool.


And yeah... I really liked this movie.
I can't wait till it's out on DVD so I can buy it and watch it again.
I'm wondering if they're gonna make another.. or maybe bring back the series on a station that will give them a chance unlike stanky FOX.

I so want to see this! Aparaently, they may do a sequal if this movie is a hit. EVERYONE GO AND SEE IT!

I seen it twice Probably going to see it again tomorrow. FANTASTIC MOVIE. Everyone see it lots! I love Buffy and Angel, and more recently Firefly. I love my Joss

I saw it in theaters a few months ago and really enjoyed it.. I just didn't leave the theater thinking it was anything spectacular. But about a month ago an episode of Firefly came on Sci-Fi and I absolutely loved that. So I got the boxed series for Christmas and have adored every second of it so far.

I think what I like about this series/movie is its ability to make fun of itself. Because there were times while watching Serenity that I was kind of like "Wow.. are they serious?" 'Cause honestly.. spoiler: How in the HECK did Mal survive getting whatever that thing was (it's been so long) at the end shoved straight through him? I dunno, I found that humorous in itself, but that might just be me.. haha.

So anyway.. a few things:

- Knit a Jayne hat. C'mon. It's fun.
- Watch this if you've seen the movie/series. It's grand.

I do have the DVD, but I refuse to watch it until I have seen Firefly, for I've heard the movie seems a lot better if you've seen that. Oh, and for future reference-

I just rewatched this on DVD today and it was just as awesome.
And watching the outtakes and how silly everyone is and the comicon thing really makes me wish this show would come back.
Or that they make sequals to the movie.

Finished Firefly. I watched eight episodes today.. I think that's kind of sad.. hahaha, oh well. I am basically obsessed now. I love the quotability of this show. It's wonderful.

Now to knit a Jayne hat!

(Oh my GOODNESS. That man is HILARIOUS. I quite enjoyed the Ballad of Jayne easter egg on disc four.. dear me.)

Going to watch it tomorrow night, I've heard good things about it I kinda want to see all of Firefly first but oh well

I LOVE this movie. This is the best movie I've seen so far; it's just amazing and brilliant. Words cannot describe how awesome this movie really is.
