I like it, but I get too attached to the some of the meercats and then they die. I haven't watched it in a while for this reason.

Yes, its sad when they die, but if you think its sad when they die, don't watch season 3. I know about a very very major meerkat dying. And there's a drought. Yes, Bart, but sometimes they twist things around, like Shakespeare wasn't in the burrow fight, a female, most probably Pozzo's sister Sparky, was in the fight. Shakespeare was off mating with a female somewhere and forming a mob.

Ohh that's good. Shakespear was my fave. And I have a feeling of whom you're talking about...

My girlfriend is obsessed with it.
I spent the last month searching for a meerkat teddy for her! Cost me £20 mind, but it'd be worth it, just to see her face light up when I give it to her.
I'll have to buy myself one.

Shakespeare was my favourite Meerkat too. XD;; I thought it was weird when he apparantly disappeared... something just didn't feel right.
Thanks for confirming my cynical attitude towards to show. Meh, I watched it on BBC2 - a while ago now - when it was being shown and I didn't really click towards it... I'm just not a real fan of Meerkats. I just watched because I was drawn to the plight of poor Shakespeare (the whole snake thing) but the dramatising of events wasn't really to my taste. Ah well. Maybe it was their Gang-land-nature. -shrugs- Twas interesting to learn about Meerkats nonetheless though. ^^ Yay.
