Sanjaya!

I admit it. I've called and voted for Sanjaya. Sure, his voice isn't as good as many of the others... but EVERY week he amuses me. I love watching him on stage. It's a trainwreck I can't stop wanting to see. Unlike some people, I don't vote for him because of any reason other than I like watching him perform. Good enough reason for me.

So... have you ever voted for him? I'm curious.

My opinion of him is that of the only source where I hear about him: Countdown w/ Keith Olbermann. He comes across as the lovable loser, minus the 'love' part. He needs to be William Hung out to dry (sorry for the pun) and dropped already! Although, if he does win, that would help shake up the show and hopefully prove what a farce it really is.

Why are people trying to cause the downfall of the show?

Actually I thought he was good in the initial audition and Hollywood rounds, but he started to get bad when he got into the top 24. Maybe he just stopped trying.

Never voted for AI, but if there were anti-votes, I would get off my lazy butt and anti-vote him every week for the entire duration of voting. The only entertainment I've gotten from him is from the pictures in the AI thread and jokes that TV hosts make about him. As was said, he was decent (I didn't think he was that great, though) in the auditions, but now he's a joke, a very overdone and lame joke, the kind you chuckle a little bit at, at first, but then grow to loathe. Yeah, that kind.

Yes, I did vote for Sanjaya. Because I think he's such an adorable dork. And he's Indian. And I wanted to see what his hair would look like the next week. (I've only been watching the end recap of Tuesday's AI because it's on right before House).

I hated him, but now who do I have to make fun of? Well, I guess there's always "no upper lip" Blake, "too much for you" Lakisha and "no neck" Melinda.
