Liny linky

I haven't laughed at the Simpsons in years.
But I'll be the first to admit that I laughed at this.

I have been waiting all my life for this movie. Seriously.

That's because it has "classic era" writers from seasons 1-8 :D.

Hilarious teaser. I can't wait for the movie.

Sorry for bumping, but there's yet another 'trailer' which still doesn't really give away the plot -

Click one of the links for Trailer #3 (If you click one of the HD links, you'll see the really cool animation).

I. Am. Stoked.

There's really no other way to put it. The other trailers (teasers) were a huge disappointment to me, to be honest, but this trailer... so good. So awesomely good. The weekend this movie comes out and the weekend HP&tDH comes out are the two spans of time I'm most looking forward to this year.

That trailer was awesome!

Although I just noticed. The band who are on the sinking float near the end is Green Day! Wh00t!

Liked the 'States that border Springfield' joke though.

Some new information on the movie,

Creator Matt Groening dishes about the highly anticipated - and long awaited - feature film

After both 18 years and seasons, the Simpson family is finally hitting the big screen.

Matt Groening recently provided insight as to what viewers and fans can expect when the film hits this July.

The feature film has multiple studios working on the animation alone. Groening said that nearly every animator who has worked on the show was called back to lend their skills to the movie.

Groening also cleared the air on a few interesting things regarding the film:

On what took so long: Groening said that they are nearing their 400th episode now and 20th year with the show. He feels it’s a great time to do a feature film.

On Bart losing his virginity: Nothing but a misinterpreted rumour, apparently. Groening stated that the movie will not be about Bart losing his virginity.

Focusing solely on Homer: Also, not true. The film will focus on the entire family and even the townspeople. Everyone’s favourites will be included.

On nudity: “You'll see more of the Simpsons than you really should see and probably things people you don't want to see. Whoever you don't want to see naked on The Simpsons, you know that's who you're going to see,” Groening stated.

Springfield revealed: Groening’s answer was yes, and to also keep an eye out for a good joke about just that.

He's been saying the same thing about the movie for the past year or so though and it still doesn't give away any of the plot.

Plus MG's role in The Simpsons is greatly exaggerated...they only interview him because he's the person people would recognize when they think of The Simpsons.

What I do know:
-The producers expect it to be a PG-13 because they can get away with more language and subject matter in movies
-Guest voices include Kelsey Grammar (as Sideshow Bob), Albert Brooks (Didn't mention whether it was one of his characters like Hank Scorpio, Jacques, or a new character), Joe Mantegna (Fat Tony), Minnie Driver, and Erin Brockovich.
-Since Erin Brockovich is in it, I assume it has to do with Homer really screwing up something at the nuclear power plant and/or destroying the environment.

I dunno if I'm going to go see it. I haven't watched that show in ages because Futurama is just so much better. I might give it a shot if I hear it's funny.

Indeed, Futurama is better in every way. Stupid FOX.
