The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

There's a topic for books that made you cry; here's a topic for movies.
The fourth HP movie made me well up a bit...
and, at the risk of getting laughed off of PPT...
Brokeback Mountain. I bawled like a little baby.

AI: Artificial Intelligence: At the very end
Pay It Forward: Yet again, at the very end
Rent: An almost steady stream from when the character dies right up to the end.

Man, AI sent me out of the theatre bawling when David accidentally knocks his human brother into the swimming pool. Or something like that, I only saw it once. When I came back, it was just weird and I couldn't take it seriously any more.
"Please, Blue Fairy, make me a real boy" for what, three thousand years? David is capable of love but not, say, knowing when to call it quits? Impatience? Boredom?
Two Towers and Return of the King had me crying, oh yes. Oddly enough, Braveheart didn't that I remember.

I cried when I first saw Titanic.
How embarrassing...I was the only one in the theater that was crying.

Spirited Away - When they were on the train. I don't know why
Grave of the Fireflies - Gah, this was the saddest movie I've ever seen. Everything in it seemed to be tear-jerking for some reason.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shambala - At the end....Al's such a little sweetheart, I want to squish him to death
Serenity - STUPID POINTY OBJECTS! -sob-
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - The ending was so beautiful, but so sad....-sigh-
The House of Flying Daggers - I was in FLOODS from the minute Mei got stabbed, and then when it started snowing, and Jin held her when she actually died....
Titanic - ....I was only six
Finding Nemo - All right, this one I'm actually ashamed of <.<>.>

I always tear up when I watch "Gladiator" or "Braveheart". I can't think of any others off the top of my head.

RENT didn't make me cry. I thought it would, but it didn't... It was close though.
Actually, I've been looking for a movie to make me cry... but so far, nothing. =\ I might watch Grave of the Fireflies.

I don't know any movie to have made me cry, but there were touching stories, such as episode 11 of GitS: S.A.C. and that told via the notes passed to the woman played by Natalie Portman in V For Vendetta.
I saw Grave of the Fireflies. I understand the point trying to be conveyed. I was affected quite a bit by the documentaries and what I read in books, but said movie served as more of an irritation to me and didn't get me emotional at all.

If it helps, I cried when I saw it on HBO...OK, so I was 5.
But I saw it again! And I cried. ;_;
I've cried during Titanic and Fried Green Tomatoes.
It's always when someone dies! o_o;;

so i'm not the only one it would seem. thankfully, i was at home for Flying Daggers, but i was in the theater with Crouching Tiger. i couldn't really help it. the ending made it seem everyones sacrifices were pointless...and they were because of what happened. I cried all the way home, driven by my speechless friend...the whole 20+ miles.
Dancer in the Dark Bjork stars in a horridly tragic movie. i was so upset by the movie i yelled at my mother for laughing 5 minutes after it was finished.

That movie was so sad! Like the gay theme apart, it's an amazing love story, that needed to be told.
I love the book too!
