The last movie you watched and what you thought of it(split)

Exactly what is says on the tin. This thread is for posting the last movie you watched and what you thought of it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I just finished "Crash", by Paul Haggis. If you havent heard of him before, he was also the man behind the Oscar winning "Million Dollar Baby" ( and he used to write "Due South" episodes, and created "Walker Texas Ranger", but the less said about that the better methinks :P )

Im still at a bit of a loss for words. This is one of the most powerful films I have ever seen, and I have seen my fair share. Much debate abounds about the subject of racism in this film, and the suitability of it in the Movie world, but the sheer force in this film is astounding, and in my opinion deserves so much more of the lime-light than does the simple, cheap showing of a race-issue card. I almost found myself wishing it would end at times, simply because I didnt think I could take one more twist.

Masterpiece. If you have the ability, see this movie.

Just watched Kung Fu Hustle for the 2nd time now. I wouldn't say it was "better" than Shaolin Soccer... I think I like both equally ^^

I disliked both equally :P

...

I finally saw Sin City, that was...fantastic.

I likd Shoalin Soccer better, actually. Kung Fu hustle is just so... weird, story-wise, I mean. Some parts don't flow together that well.

I watched both in Chinese =).

I LOVE that movie!
Watched it last week again and I love it even more than the first rime I saw it in the theaters.

I love the stories and the acting and all that but the whole movie is just gorgeous to watch.

I watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban day before yesterday. I saw it before in theaters and this was my second time seeing it. I must say, I really do love this movie.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was the movie that I last saw. It was good. I think it was the best Harry Potter Movie that they made in my opinion. My favourite part was when they go back in time. I can't wait to see their 4rt movie, I heard that it is going to be their best movie out of their movies that they have made.

"The Machinist" starring Christian Bale (the new Batman) and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
I thought the plot was interesting. It was very "Vanilla Skyish" yet it lacked the emotion it needed.
Also... Christian Bale was at 119 pounds for the movie. He literally looked like a walking skeleton... Very creepy looking. I have disturbing images of the actor now and will never look at him the same again.
It's hard to believe he'd go that far for the role. Here's a pic of him (and yes, it is really him, not some digital work... He really got down to 119!);

I hated that movie. I mean, come on!! Wizards and witches walking around in NORMAL CLOTHES. =O

That movie was the worst one ever. The first one was the best, really. Although none of them can really compare to the books.

I finally watched Napoleon Dynamite. What a classic :D

Paparazzi - Saw it less then a week ago, lame, but my type of film.

The Hours - Not my type of film, but it was intresting. I felt like there wasn't enough of a connection at the end though.

That bothered me too, although I was more annoyed by the fact that Hermione's hair was normal. I was so looking forward to the moment in Goblet of Fire when she walks out looking gorgeous, and instead now she's just going to look a bit nicer than before. (Not that she isn't already a very gorgeous girl, but you know what I mean.)

You know that can't do every single little detail Harry Potter fanatics want, they're going to cut out a few things, I mean honestly.

Red Eye. AWESOME movie. Highly recommended. This is probably the best I've seen all year-better than the Skeleton Key!

Might just be me, but I find the clothing less of a fanticism issue and more of a request for continuity. They wore their proper robes in the previous two movies. In the third, they did not.
