The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

On this ABC show, B liost celebrities are paired with professional ballroom dancers and given one week to master a dance (fox trot, samba, etc). They then compete against other star couples, live on TV. They are judged by a panel of seasoned judges and viewer votes.
Personally, I love this show. It's good, clean TV. I like a show where you can have kids, parents, and grandparents in the same room watching the same thing. It's great!

I've seen a little of it and I'm neutral on it.
I don't really have any interest in dancing so that part doesn't appeal to me. And the actors sure don't appeal to me, but the show isn't all that bad.. from what I've seen.
Apprently it's a big hit though... *shrugs*

I just took a ballroom dancing class this past quarter at community college and so I watched a couple episodes of this. It was pretty cool, and I love watching them do moves that I can't do. Haha.

Ironically enough at the end of the credits, it does give credit to BBC, which is odd cause I so rarely see that on shows that we take from you.
Personally? I'm rooting SO MUCH for John O'Hurley. He's my MAN. =3

Although I love the show, I can't help the fact that it has a lot flaws.
I can't help but feel the three judges are heavily biased and the way they vote has a lot of flaws. Before she was eliminated, was nothing but praise and high scores for Rachel Hunter when I saw a lot of flaws (and very "blocky" dancing) in her performances and should have been lower in the rankings. Come on, she was nowhere near being "the queen of the dancing floor" dear Bruno. On the other hand, they took it hard on the others and didn't give appropiate scores (even John who I think is the best of the celebrities IMO.) I think they should have done what they do on American Idol with the judges there for criticism and not scores (although I'm glad they did do that for the waltz last week.)
Some of the songs aren't even appropiate for the dances (really.... the Austin Powers theme for samba come on >_<)
haha at least I'm glad Kelly is in the finals, it serves the judges right after slamming her the first two weeks.

I've watched it a few times, since ABC is one of the very few channels I Actually get. I'm not really interested in dancing, but the show isn't half bad. I thought it was going to be another horrible flop.

I've watched it a couple times as well, and I actually find it kind of interesting. If you asked me right now, I wouldn't be able to tell you the days it's on or anything, but if I do come across it, I'll watch it.

I also thought Rachel was given too much leeway. "Bird of Paradise" my foot!
