Well, Snape IS pretty cool...
(at least, in PS and GoF)
But I love Ron anyway, he's awesome... plus everyone steals his lines in the movie, just like poor ol' Eomer. He's a great Best Friend, but as a person, individually, he's also great.
And Snape's a malevolent old bat... who looks like my Mom.
(In the movies, anyway e.e)

Wow, when I saw the results I was so surprised. I thought that I'd be one of the only ones who voted for Snape, but apparently not. I just think that he's a fascinating character and I love reading the parts he's in.

Well that depends, the books or the movie?
The books, Ron, obviously. But in the movies, I don't care for Ron, all he does is stand around looking shocked and saying, "H-h-harry!!" which I consider to be an insult to the Ron of the novels. And Snape in the movie is perfect for the part.

Snape. He has an interesting story and I love how downright nasty he is. And c'mon, he's the "Potionz Mastah!"
