The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

There are so many Drizzt novels that not many people have read them all, so keep any major spoilers to things that only people who read the particular book can get.
Oh, yeah, and your favorite hero can't be Drizzt. Because nearly everyone's is.
My favorite hero is Zak, definitely. Even cooler than Drizzt, in my book, because of all those monologues.
My favorite villain would be Entreri, but Salvatore keeps going on and on about Drizzt's same old mental torment on the subject. So let's make that Matron Baenre instead. The original mistress of the double-cross.
My least favorite villain is Roddy McGristle. Not only does he look lame next to drow and illithids, he isn't even believable.

R.A. Salvatore is an excellent writer!
My fav. hero would be the cat whose name I can never spell right. Gwen... something. It always has fun, and is just so sweet... when not ripping something apart limb from limb.
Zaknafien deserves his own series!
As for villian, I have to go Artemis Entrerie (SP?). He's got the style of a madman and the methods of insanity. And that dagger just makes him invincible. I wonder if he'll come back later on as a wondering mercenary with that other drow, the bald guy. It's been too long sense I read these books, I can't remember many names.
But I will say that Drizzt thinks about things way too much. Just kiss the girl already!

Not to mention his spurts of but-what-if-these-are-nice-orcs when he's just reached the surface... You tell him, Mooshie.
The cat is Guenhwyvar. Which I think is a permutation of Guinevere. Which is disturbing.
The bald drow is Jarlaxle.

I'm currently reading Two Swords (3 cheers for public libraries!).
I am happy to report that Drizzt finally lightns up! YAY!
