Has anyone else seen this yet?

It was really good. Gratutitously gory, so if you don't like that, then don't see it.

I personally preferred the second one to the first one, anyone else?

Eh, haven't seen it yet. Tarantino's works are interesting, so I might give it a try. But I've seen previews and from what I can tell I'd either hate it and regret wasting however much money on it or I'd love it. The leg thing kind of creeped me out, though, which is probably the main reason I'm not really thinking about it. If you insist. Do you?

(He who fights with monsters should see to it that he himself does not become a monster). And when you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.

Isn't "Grindhouse" two moves in one?

Indeed it is.
It is "Planet Terror" (Rodriguez) and "Death Proof" (Tarantino)

It's about 3+ hours long, or so I've heard.

I haven't seen it yet, but from what I see..
Planet Terror involves zombies! *yay*
and Death Proof involves a car.. and a mad man driving it?

Either way, it looks brilliant.
I don't think it's one of those movies that you should go into, expecting a serious action or horror movie. I think it's supposed to be a throw back to those old 70's action flicks.. and is just supposed to be good humored and fun.

At least, that's how I see it.
Kind of like Kill Bill. You can't really take the first one too seriously, or else you end up being very disappointed.
