Lately I cannot seem to place no matter how hard I try. The winners seem to get such amazingly high amounts of votes, regardless of the quality of the art.

Thanks. Sometimes I have to resist the urge to enter a crappy image. It's tempting, but then by the time I finish it, it isn't that way anymore.

My third Marffey image is as close as I care to a crappy image. That one I rushed on because I had no time until an hour before the contest.

The 1st and 2nd place gelert that placed today are fairly decent. The third place one surprized me, because I hadn't seen that one advertised at all.

(take my opinion for whatever it's worth. I have no intention to hurt feelings, but I saw other gelerts besides mine that could have taken that spot and be more deserving. I judge by not only the artistic skill and rendering, but also the origionality of the pose and if there is a unique personality showing. The 3rd place grey gelert struck me as just a grey pet standing and nothing more. If you happen to be that artist, maybe you can take my suggestions to improve your next image )

Thanks. Though I dislike entering images over and over, I will for this one too. If I have time, I may enter Tairrena and my brown grundo as well.

And if TorturedButterfly doesn't place, then I'll enter that image in again and possibly create a new pict for Tairrena or another pet.

Sorry guys but I had to change my sig . I no like the idea of advertising other people's pets. I can suggest them, but I'm not putting them in my sig.

I think I'll mention this in the ppt board.

It's the April Fools thing. Sigs are bein' switched around left and right... or should I say up and down...

Ah, your Chomby is adorable, just like all your other art! Please don't feel disenchanted because you are struggling to place, the BC is often much like a popularity contest anyways and even if you get a few so-so results you've also had some good ones too Best wishes for the rest of the contest!

I get frustrated easily. If I lose then I'll rant about it for the first couple days and then move on. Eventually I'll end up with a pool of artwork I can swap around so I can enter in weeks I have no time to make something new.

butterfly, I completely understand the getting frustrated and if you need to rant, you can always pm me! I get like that with the lookup contest.

But I really think you deserve a trophy for your wonderful work. Maybe this will be your week!
