Actually,the normal going price is 3 million.

Well that's my problem then. I may not be able to sell it for 2.5 million but I have no doubts I will be able to sell it for quiet a bit more than the 215,000np's I spent on the 100 dubloons I used to buy it.

Could it be some people are just jealous that I was able to restock something at the cove and they never have?:P

Well most people with interest in cove items know that in order to test them/collect them/ etc to sticky hand them in a 2p battle so they don't waste them. You should have no trouble getting over 3m. Just be patient with it.

Calvinorion, I was merely expressing my opinion. I myself will no blow 2.5m for an item for display, I would rather work hard to get a new trophy or avatar instead. I am relatively new to neopets comparing to you guys and did not realise people will spend so much for items they will never use and I still don't understand why.

I do not appreciate you indicating that I was jealous... I would be a bit jealous if you got a Bottle of Magic Sand or something useful but not a Rotten Negg.

I still hope you will be able to sell your Negg for a big profit though, so good luck and do let us know if you are successful.

Well I guess it all comes down to what you value.

There are only 120 or less of each cove item ever made, making them very rare items. So to restock any item there is considered an achievement by most people, at least it is to me.

I obviously offended you with my snotty comment and therefore I apologize. I was just really excited about restocking an item there.

Thanks for the good wishes and I know I will be able to make, at the very minimum, a million dollar profit, and who couldn't use an extra million neopoints?

Don't worry about it.

In future if you come across and Pirate Cove items that are useful in battles, do PM me. My battle equipping is very bad for my pet's level at the moment as I am reluctant to spend too much until I get the Number 6 avatars (and I am close).
