The Plaza is the forums part of a LotR fansite, and a great community. It's been up for two-and-a-half years, now, and going strong with over half-a-million members. You can choose which race you wish to belong to (everything from Elves to Orcs, minus some), and earn fanatics points to lift yourself through the ranks. The R/As are very kind and helpful, and will help you in any way they can. Activities vary among races, but some include contests between races, and the occasional war is known to erupt at some points.
Join if you wish, but if you happen to have AIM and wish to interact more fully with Plaza members or find out more about the Plaza, I/M VaderLym, and she'll (or rather, I'll) introduce you into our chatroom!

That layout looks like it was stolen. Unless the people from the other site made that site.
