I was just wondering, what exactly is the purpose of the Neocam? It's quite possibly the most boring thing on the site.

Sure, it could be interesting, if it was actually pointed at something that moves, ya know? I thought the idea of the Neocam was to see the staff working in the office, but any memories I have seeing that on the Neocam were long ago. I can't even remember the last time I saw a person on it.

It seems these days the Neocam is pretty ho-hum. It's always pointed at something they are marketing. A TCG card. A new plushie. Or ooohh...(brace yourselves) a plushie with a TCG card propped up against it!

I really would like to see something alive on the Neocam for a change, anyone agree? Or are there supporters of inanimate boring images out there increasing the demand for the current neocam program?

Yeah, that baby Gelert looks adorable, but it would be cool to see some people.

Though I do love the weird montages they have sometimes - with action figures and foods and other stuff. It's not always marketing! Mostly it's just silliness. ;)

Yes, but think about how much fun and silliness they could have filming themselves for a change! Oh the possibilities!

Imagine this scenerio... :

The staff orders pizza for lunch.

On the camera, we see everyone huddled around the pizza box, chomping away happily....

As they finish, we see them wiping the grease from their faces with napkins....

Except...wait! What is that written on the napkins? Those aren't napkins!!!

*looks closer at NeoCam and reads the writing on the napkins*

They say: "The Plan for Neoschools" :o

ACK! NO! They tossed them in the garbage!! NOoooooooOOOoOooO!

See what I mean? That beats an apple and a Dr. Who toy any day of the week.

There's no point having a camera that picks up motion filming an inanimate object.

It's only in recent memory that they switched to a "static feed" with the Neocam. Up to the Mystery Island puzzle or even later than that, it was pointed toward the other parts of the office. It was so much fun to watch and analyze what they were up to :P

I miss seeing people on it. I can understand them pointing it at soemthing right before they go home for the day. I remember it being on and showing a person (or two) working late into the night. It made me feel like somebody was working on any problem that was currently happening. Maybe there is just LESS to see

Too right, the neocam these days is rubbish.

Personally I want to see a moving pic, even if the quality is poor. That'd be rockin' :)

I remember one time that it was pointed into the office... And I could see quite alot of people working... Every refresh you would see someone get up and move... And there were others that I swear, no matter how many times you refresh, they don't move o_0.

But I'd like to see more of the neopets team in action.

Trust me I barely move from my desk.

See.... the camera is at Adam's house and he puts different items up to make it LOOK like they are busy at the office when really they are all laughing at us spending our time waiting for super cool things to come out...
