I think a pet's birthday should be special.
On a pet's birthday you should get a special side bar that is different from the one you get on your own birthday. There should be a thing you can go to to calculate when your pet's birthday is. I tried to calculate when my pet was born but it was kind of hard. I figured it out though. But little kids would have trouble. So a birthday calculator would help. Also they could release some birthstone items. Birthstone battledome items would be nice, and would only work if you got it right. So if you gave it the wrong birthstone it would not work. They could have some birthstone plushie or something to collect.
I would also like to be able to use boxes and gift wrapping paper. If you put an item in a box and added paper to the box, you would have a box with something in it. You would go to the cooking pot and use the three items together to get a "Box of ?!" It wouldn't tell you what was in the box. You could send them to people as gifts. But you could not trade them or sell them in stores or use the auction wizard. Because no one but you would know what was in the box. So to prevent scams they would only be able to be sent to people. Then the pet could play with it and then they would get whatever was in the box.
They could release new kinds of wrapping paper to go on the boxes too. Like faerie wrapping paper,
spotted wrapping paper,
flowery wrapping paper,
ect.

I second this idea! I really like it, especially with all the wrapping papers and such. I know it'll never happen, but currently when I send gifts I send a card, then a neomail (to represent what was in the card), then a gift box, then the actual present.
It'd be nifty if you could like put a present IN a box, then once they receive that, they could click 'open' and see what's inside ^_^

I think Neo has been doing a lot better lately - maybe putting items in gift boxes will be implemented someday!
In the meantime, I think it's cute to have stuff like that on the site. I always send an appropriate card, and maybe flowers with a gift.

You always seem to come up with awesome ideas fudge. I love this idea. Pets deserve something special for their b-days too! And the gift items really do need a use.

I think there should just be a birthday store in general. Whenever it's a Neofriend of mine's birthday, I always find myself wondering what to get him/her, and then I settle for a Green Apple or something. If there were some cool novelty gift items, that'd be pretty neat.

I like this idea very much. Maybe on your pet's birthday, your pet can gain a random stat/s as a special bonus. That would be cool too.

Well, they cant do them if they havn't heard of them. Fudge, you should send in that suggestion. Maybe it'll get though the hundreds of email they get a day. But it's a great idea.
