I usually research stocks on Neodaq.com, but I've noticed that the graphs that show the progress of each stock hasn't been updated since Oct. 16th. Does anyone know how often Neodaq updates, and if there's a more accurate place to check on stocks?

Let me break it down for you. The NPSM(neopets stock market) is obviously not run by us, it's run by a set of Algorithms that loop, this is the only reason why neodaq is actually a good site, b/c with all the tracking they have been doing it really helps to let you know if a rise/fall is coming up in what companies. BUT what neodaq and no one else can predict is when a company goes bankrupt. Other than neodaq.com being updated I have no clue, out of the blue though, I guess the stocks have finally hit the end of the loop and are about to start over again. But the loop is REALLY big, like over a couple of months to a year. UNLESS I am all utterly wrong with all this above, b/c this is the way the stocks use to run unless they were changed.

Yeah, I understand all that. But short of looking at each stock's chart over the past year, and then guessing at what's next, the Neodaq chart tells you what the stock's at now, and you can see whether it's recently jumped up or down in price. I just didn't know if there were any other NeoStock sites.

There's not any large ones I know about. I personally feel that Stocks are random(Which we know are), and the past have nothing to do with changes. I would just go with browsing the Stock Tips board and looking through bargains and the full list.

Those who...Um...I don't know. Now... I've got nothing else to say.

No, the only good stocks site is neodaq.com but, I guess you can say if you google or yahoo it you might find some off the road site. I personally just stick with neodaq.com

oh... Sorry I didn't see this sooner. *blush* Here's w3's (the owner of the site) reason why it hasn't been updated:

Quote:
Its a little more than an update this time around. The perl scripts java wrote will need fixing for the demise of JCK. As I am not familar with perl I will need some time to do this so I wont attempt it until that time presents itself.

It could have been updated before then, but now it can't be for a while. If Java (one of the neodaq forum members) is able to fix it soon, it will get updated. :)
