Hi, I just wondered if anybody had seen any more popups, spyware, or other evil things on the banners please post here. I spent a lot of time getting rid of as many unsuitable ones as possible, but would like to be 100% sure that its ok.

Currently its only displaying in a really slow rotation. This may increase over the next few weeks but not by much.

Lastly, how is everybody finding the speed of the site? Is it ok? Are there any pages that are slower than others, any games that are unplayable?

Im ill today with a sore throat so im in one of those "fix the site moods" so anything you can tell me will probably get fixed

Thanks for checking, Adam, but I haven't seen anything else *nasty* besides what I think has already been adressed.

NOTE: I've also noticed Hannah and the Ice Caves running a bit slower, but that's probably just my computer ^_^

Adam, I've been noticing the overall speed of the site is slower than normal lately. Especially the main shops.

Is this just my computer, or the site?

I haven't seen or had anyone mention any slowness or pop ups since...this weekend started. Also, non-flash games glitches seem to be all kept care of. Cellblock was having some issues, but starting a new game cleared it up for all involved.

I am very interested to see what is said on that subject.

I have also noticed the site lagging a bit today, as well as some sporadic "down for maintenance" pages.

I haven't noticed the site was too slow lately, either. Everything seems to be fine. I haven't even seen any ads for anything except Neopets related stuff.

I havent noticed any slowness, nor have I experienced any problems with the site today.

Not me, however, I haven't really been paying attention to them. I've gotten so use to them, I only notice when they aren't there.

Which seems to be happening when I post a message on my guild. It doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes either the top banner or the side button dissapears, and the last time I noticed it was last night. So it may already be fixed.

Site speed? It really depends on which of my computors I am on. If I'm on this one (98, with a Trojan Horse I am trying to get rid of, definately not from Neo as it was there before the top banners) its sort of laggy, but I'm sure thats not your fault. I have noticed that it has gone a lot faster though.

On my Windows XP... well, one word. Zzooom!

EDIT: Of course, I haven't played any flash games today or anything. Just Neoquest II, its about the only one I like to play on the 98.

about the shops though, its a little glitchy, if the item you search for on the shop wizard isnt on the first page of the shop, it doesnt show up at all...

and when it DOES show up at the top, the quanity and total items gets added 1 (or more depending on quanity) on the bottom... i little odd, although i like the change ^_^

The site seems slow to me today, but otherwise is alright. Banner ads are also fine.

Drink lots of tea with honey, that helps when I get a sore throat.

I'm not sure of this, but my computer has been lagging a lot on Neo-related pages (mostly when it has come to the flash ads on the toolbar.)

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but at least yesterday I encounted quite a few questionable ad (the "Free Ipods" [which is a very elaborate scheme], the 100 smilies pack, and the screen savers ad)

Yeah, I read that.... weird... no idea where or why that is happening

While we are at asking questions, here is one I am dying to know. It's a longshot it'll get answered, but . . .

Do you think the Halloween Toolbar will ever be released again? I was out with the flu on Halloween, so I was not able to be on as late as usual.
