5th November - Bonfire Night
Remember, remember the 5th of November! People all over the UK will be celebrating Bonfire Night tonight (or Guy Fawkes Night to be slightly more correct!) To keep with tradition Hubert has some freshly baked Jacket Potatoes on sale.
We have a new Random Contest! This week we ask you to send in your real life Neopets recipes...

If you like SpongeBob SquarePants, you should try this new game featuring SpongeBob himself...
There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was the image from Caption Contest #171. 794 people guessed the correct answer earning 2,519 NP each.
Some Bonfire Night themed colouring pages have been added to the Haunted Woods.
Lixinzhao123's cloudy Neohome at 236439 Bread Street, Neopia Central has just won this week's Neohome Spotlight award.
The Art Gallery has some new pictures on display. As a side note, next week we will have a Sloth/Space plot themed art gallery so start sending in your Slothy pics

A new round of the Beauty Contest is about to start.
If you are planning on going out in the cold air tonight, you should try some nice hot soup first. The Food Shop has four new flavours to choose from including Chunky Mushroom and Cream of Tchea.
Even in our Caption Contest it seems Neopets have gone outside to watch the fireworks.
The last Pet Spotlight trophy of the week has been awarded to Kotick89 the Tuskaninny.
Niptors, Ghotis, Airaxs and Harris can now be painted Fire at the Petpet Puddle.

They made a small mistake with the fire petpets... They listed a harris, but instead showed a different one...

That's a neat contest. I just bought some asparagus to cook this weekend too. 
But I don't want to make something gross like Asparagus Yogurt Pizza so I probably won't enter.
EDIT: hmm...cheesy asparagus is an item, but probably too normal and therefore not "Neopets" enough. Spinach Asparagus Pasty might be good though.

I want to upload my recipe image but it says:

Err, I think that's a glitch. Does TNT really think you can fit a whole recipe into a mere 25 characters?

Maybe you can edit the image so that the recipe is in the image itself?

Art Gallery. Baby Bori by santafee was in already, on p. 333. I've seen the same person (not that person) get in twice on the same day, with different pics, but winning twice on the same pic? Is that allowed?

Sometimes when they get entries, they put them aside for inclusion in a future contest, and then I suppose they forget that they've already put them in once, and put them in again. I've had the same poem get into the poetry contest twice - but I didn't get the prize the second time.
