I'm about to adopt a cloud kau and because I haven't done any transfer for a while, I was wondering if you guys can tell me whether it's possible to do it on a 56k modem?

Isn't there a link somewhere that tells you how much a pet would cost to adopt? Or am I dreaming?

Did any of you successfully transfer a painted pet? I lost a faerie lupe once and the new owner couldn't receive neomail

I think you should be covered if you have more than 1000 np. It might be more though if the pet has good stats.

It is hard to do over a modem, but if you have a messenger program and are prepared, I'm sure it is possible.

Go there, and add the name of the pet (you MUST have the capitals and whatever in the right places.. it's least risky to paste the name of the pet from its lookup) on the end, and press enter. If you don't have enough to adopt the pet, it will tell you how much you need. If you do have enough, it'll just say the pet already has an owner.

Incidentally that's also the link you should refresh when adopting the pet.

I would strongly suggest using an Instant Messaging program, to make sure you don't miss the pet, by going to the direct link to the adoption page for that pet, it's hard to miss the pet.
Have enough NP on hand, and refresh that page when the other person is putting the pet up.
I successfully gave a Grey Uni to Caesara this way.

Hmm, now I'm a bit worried. The owner didn't tell me whether she has IM or not... Maybe I should go and ask.

Thanks for the link guys, I appreciate it I can't believe TNT STILL won't approve players transfer pets in all these years.... What's so bad about it anyway? The only bad thing I could think of was someone having multiple accounts with lab ray in it, and he can zap the same pet numerous times in one day :/ But other from that, I really don't see why TNT won't give us a safer way to transfer pets...

EDIT: I used the link, but it says '*** already has an owner and is very happy" even though I only had 1 np on me. o.0 The pet's at level 14, I'd think it would cost ALOT more?

It only works for some users, and only works if you have less than 3 pets (which I hope you do if you're adopting another).

If it's level 14, have about 15,000 Neopoints onhand and you should have more than enough to adopt it.

I transfer pets all the time for my friends and I. How do I do it? Well 1st off you need 2 have a fast connection (T1 for me.) Then log into the account you want to abandon it on and then log onto the account you want it to be transfered to. Thus, logging into 2 accounts at once, you can guess what 2 do next...

i transferred a werelupe like 10 times good...but lost a blue kau last night. you never know what will happen

I wish you could transfer pet's. I'd make it so much easier.

the reason why it didn't work is simple, if the pet your trying to find is sombodys active pet, it won't work, I tried it on my active pet, no beans(on another acount) changed the active pet, and it worked.
